During the 2020-2025 period, My Son Management Board has experienced many challenges, especially the period heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. However, with the spirit of patriotic emulation, the collective unit has united and made continuous efforts to successfully complete the assigned political tasks, contributing to improving the quality of the work of preserving and promoting the value of the world cultural heritage of My Son Temple Complex.

One of the highlights is international cooperation in research, conservation, restoration, maintenance of relics and archaeology. The unit has cooperated and connected with Indian experts (ASI), Carlo Maurilio Lerici Foundation (Italy), the Embassy of India in Vietnam, Japanese scientists , the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology... to promote technical documents, surveys, and prepare conditions for projects to restore and rehabilitate important groups of towers such as E, F, D1, D2, L,...

In particular, in collaboration with the Institute of Archaeology, the excavation of the path leading to the K tower area, thereby discovering, excavating, revealing and clarifying the value of the "zodiac road" leading to the center of the temple tower area, has opened up many prospects for scientific research, excavation of underground traces at My Son and development of new tourism products.

Develop a dossier of procedures to adjust the master plan to 2030, with a vision to 2050, and send it to provincial and district departments to get opinions on the planning tasks.

In parallel with the restoration, the Management Board also applies modern technology to the conservation work such as using LiDar technology in the survey of relic restoration, searching for archaeological traces, supporting archaeological work to preserve relics. Digitizing artifacts, building online databases. These innovations not only serve long-term research but also contribute to bringing the image of My Son closer to the public in the digital age.

In addition, special attention is paid to forest protection, landscape preservation and ensuring absolute safety for relics as well as tourists, contributing to keeping My Son always a safe and friendly destination.

Innovate and enhance experiences for development

The emulation movement in My Son always focuses on innovation and creativity to promote historical values, develop tourism, and attract visitors. “Innovation for development”.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the total investment value of tourism infrastructure is 24 billion VND, of which the unit's career development fund is 6.8 billion VND, the state budget source is 17.2 billion VND. Maintain tourism promotion with many diverse activities such as building 360-degree image promotion on the website platform, promoting on social networking systems. The total number of annual visitors always meets the set target in the period of 2020 - 2025.

AudioGuide digital conversion products meet the multilingual needs of tourists

A series of initiatives have been implemented such as the AudioGuide digital transformation product to meet the multilingual needs of tourists, an online ticket sales website, a Cham folk art performance program at the foot of the tower, a community art performance team, etc. In particular, cooperation with businesses to develop green tourism products, connect the community and promote the image of heritage. The unit continues to support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, sponsor poor and studious students; support poor households to escape poverty sustainably, and maintain many volunteer activities with the community.
