Chan Mong Commune Police help people overcome the consequences of storm No. 10...
Chan Mong Commune is adjacent to many localities and important traffic routes such as National Highway 2, Provincial Road 323 and Lo River. This is a favorable condition for economic and trade development, but also contains complex factors regarding security and order. In particular, after the administrative merger, many villages and hamlets are far from the center, the traffic infrastructure is not synchronized, while the regular police force is still thin, officers and soldiers have to take on many tasks.
Faced with that reality, the Commune Police have concretized the emulation movements "For National Security", "Serving the People", "People's Police Study and Implement Uncle Ho's Six Teachings"... into action programs suitable to the local situation. From perfecting the organizational apparatus, to innovating working methods, proactively sticking to the grassroots, taking the effectiveness of serving the people as the emulation target.
...Strengthen patrols to protect the peace of the people...
Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Cong Luong - Head of the Commune Police said: "From the very first day of establishment, we identified emulation as the driving force to overcome difficulties and complete tasks well. The unit has built specific targets for each field of work, assigned clear tasks to each officer and soldier, and at the same time increased inspection and evaluation on a weekly and monthly basis to promptly learn from experience."
One of the key solutions that has been focused on is to strengthen the grasp of the situation at the grassroots level; maintain a 24/7 duty regime, assign officers in charge of the area, regularly go to villages and hamlets to promptly detect arising problems and resolve them at the grassroots level. Thanks to that, in the past time, there have been no complicated incidents, no hot spots of political security, and no serious incidents related to national security.
Patrolling, controlling and maintaining social order and safety are organized closely, with focus and key points, especially at night and during major cultural events... Thanks to regular maintenance, many cases of administrative violations, small-scale thefts, and gatherings causing disturbances have been promptly detected and handled.
Typically, during the organization of the art program and fireworks display to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Public Security and National Day September 2, the Chan Mong Commune Police mobilized the maximum number of personnel, coordinated with related forces to ensure absolute safety for thousands of people attending, and prevented traffic jams, disorder, or fire and explosion incidents.
During the recent storms No. 10 and 11, the commune police were on the front lines to help people move their belongings, evacuate from dangerous areas, and stand guard 24/7 at key locations. The images of officers and soldiers braving the rain, clearing the water flow, and helping people clean up their houses are vivid evidence of the emulation spirit to serve the people.
...Implement digital transformation in issuing and exchanging party membership cards quickly, neatly and effectively
Administrative reform, citizen reception, and procedure settlement are also identified by the Commune Police as key tasks in the emulation movement. From residence registration, ID card issuance to document confirmation, all are processed quickly, transparently, in accordance with regulations, with a dedicated and friendly service attitude, highly appreciated by the people.
The patriotic emulation movement and its achievements are not only reflected in numbers but also in the trust, peace of mind and support from the local people. At the same time, it contributes to gradually building a regular, elite communal police force capable of completing its tasks well in the new situation.
