Closing Ceremony of VTV AO SMITH Pickleball Open 2025

VHO - On October 26, at the Happyland court cluster (Long Bien, Hanoi), the closing ceremony of the VTV AO SMITH Pickleball Open 2025 officially ended after 3 days of exciting competition.

This is a large-scale sporting event organized by the Sports Department - Vietnam Television and TD Media, under the professional management of the Vietnam Sports Department and the coordination of Vietcontent.

Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television Do Duc Hoang and Deputy General Director of Phu Tien Company Limited Pham Ngoc Tien presented the Open Men's Doubles prize.

During the 3 days (from October 24 to October 26), the Tournament gathered 700 professional athletes , KOLs, businessmen, artists and celebrities, creating a sporty, intimate and inspiring atmosphere.

Prominent faces such as Quang Duong, Truong Vinh Hien, Sophia Phuong Anh, Minh Quan, Dat "tro", Dac Tien, Ngoc Trieu, Nguyen Anh Thang,...

Under the direction of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the application of IRS (Instant Replay System) technology in operations, the matches are guaranteed to be transparent, fair and accurate, clearly demonstrating the professionalism of the Tournament right from the first season.

Besides the dramatic competitions, VTV AO SMITH Pickleball Open 2025 also attracts audiences with a series of exciting sideline activities: pickleball experience area, interactive games and many attractive gifts from sponsors...

With 11 competition categories and a total prize value of more than 1 billion VND, the Tournament has found its first champions, affirming the growing attraction and position of pickleball in Vietnam's sports life.

The title of best athlete belongs to Si Boi Ngoc .

In the category of KOL, Artist and Businessman Mixed Couples , the Gold medal was awarded to the couple Phung Viet Nam - Le Bach Hop .

In the Open Mixed Doubles category , the Gold medal went to the couple Nguyen Van Phuong - Si Boi Ngoc .

In the Open Men's Doubles category - the most popular and interested category, the Gold medal belonged to the couple Vinh Hien - Minh Quan , the Silver medal belonged to Quang Duong - Bao Duong and the Bronze medal belonged to Nguyen Tien Tuan - Le Van Tuan .

Surpassing many strong opponents, Si Boi Ngoc won the best athlete award of the Tournament.

This year’s tournament is also a playground for a generation of promising young athletes, typically the youngest pair Phuong Trang Anh (16 years old) and Pham Ngoc Ha Vy (13 years old) of the Jogarbola Vietnam team. With their flexible and confident playing style, the two young players have left a strong impression, becoming symbols for the next generation full of energy and potential of Vietnamese pickleball.

One of the most meaningful highlights of the Tournament was the “Glow pickleball charity night” event taking place on the evening of October 25, with the aim of raising funds for the Tam Long Viet Fund of the Heart for Children program.

With the spirit of sharing and spreading love, the program raised 188.5 million VND. All the money will be sent to Tam Long Viet Fund to support surgery for children with congenital heart disease in difficult circumstances, giving them the opportunity to live a healthier and more fulfilling life.
