Promote patriotic emulation among workers, civil servants and laborers

In his opening speech, comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, affirmed that the 11th Patriotic Emulation Congress among workers, civil servants, and laborers is a major political event, a great festival of the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union. The Congress is a place to gather, praise, and honor outstanding collectives and individuals, representing the intelligence and aspirations of tens of millions of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers across the country.

President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang delivered the opening speech.

In his speech at the congress, Comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, praised the patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants and laborers over the past 5 years for having made new, creative, practical and more effective developments. Trade unions at all levels have closely followed the political tasks of agencies and units to link emulation with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; widely implementing emulation movements launched by trade unions. From the emulation movement's practice, many typical examples have emerged with tens of thousands of valuable initiatives and solutions that have brought about great economic efficiency. Many initiatives have had a far-reaching impact and have been commended and rewarded by all levels and sectors.

Comrade Do Van Chien suggested that the trade union organization further promote the patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers, innovate the thinking, content, and methods of organizing emulation movements with a spirit of innovation and creativity...

The congress honored 37 collectives and 43 individuals as typical examples in the emulation movement.

Individuals and groups were honored at the congress on the morning of October 26.

At the congress, on behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang continued to launch the emulation movement among workers, civil servants and laborers nationwide for the period 2025-2030 with the theme: "Competing in innovation, digital transformation, improving labor productivity, confidently entering a new era with the country".
