Promote patriotic emulation among workers, civil servants and laborers

On the morning of October 26, the 11th National Emulation Congress for Patriotic Emulation among Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers, 2025-2030 period, took place in Hanoi.

In his opening remarks, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, affirmed that the 11th National Emulation Congress for Workers, Public Employees, and Laborers is a major political event, a grand celebration for the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union organization. The Congress is a place to gather, commend, and honor outstanding collectives and individuals, representing the intellect and aspirations of tens of millions of union members, workers, public employees, and laborers across the country.

Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Nguyen Dinh Khang, delivered the opening speech.

In his address to the congress, Comrade Do Van Chien, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, praised the patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers over the past five years, noting its new, creative, practical, and effective development. Trade unions at all levels have closely followed the political tasks of their agencies and units, linking emulation with the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; and extensively implementing emulation movements launched by trade union organizations. From the practical experience of the emulation movement, many exemplary individuals have emerged, along with tens of thousands of valuable initiatives and solutions that have brought significant economic benefits. Many initiatives have had a widespread impact and have been commended and rewarded by various levels and sectors.

Comrade Do Van Chien delivered a speech guiding the congress.

Comrade Do Van Chien suggested that trade union organizations should further promote the patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers, and innovate the thinking, content, and methods of organizing emulation movements with a spirit of innovation and creativity…

The congress commended 37 collectives and 43 individuals as exemplary models in the emulation movement.

Awards and certificates of merit were presented to outstanding individuals and groups.

At the congress, on behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang continued to launch the emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers nationwide for the period 2025-2030 with the theme: "Emulating innovation, digital transformation, improving labor productivity, confidently joining the country in entering a new era."
