
Each union member and employee at the company received 2 million VND, the amount was taken from the support fund of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. At the same time, the cooperation of local trade union organizations also contributed to increasing resources to help workers overcome difficulties. The Hai Phong City Labor Federation supported 200 million VND, the Bac Ninh Province Labor Federation contributed 150 million VND, along with 200 million VND from the Da Nang City Labor Federation and many other units that were transferred to Gia Lai.

On behalf of workers in the flood-hit areas, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, Permanent Vice President of the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Confederation, expressed her deep gratitude to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the provinces and cities for their timely support. Ms. Bich Thuy pledged that the entire amount of support would be allocated to the right beneficiaries, transparently and promptly so that workers could benefit as quickly as possible.
The Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor pledged to continue to promote its role in caring for and coordinating with sectors and localities to find solutions to overcome extensive damage, support union members and workers both materially and spiritually to stabilize their lives and gradually restore production.

Sharing her feelings when receiving support from the Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Gai, a worker at Duc Toan Company Ltd., residing in Tuy Phuoc Tay commune, said that the flood was unprecedented, all the furniture in the house was submerged and severely damaged. Before that, the storm blew away the entire corrugated iron roof, and as soon as it was installed, it was submerged by floodwaters. I am very happy to receive support from the Trade Union, this amount of money helps my family overcome some of the current difficulties.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhi, a worker at Duc Toan Co., Ltd., residing in Quy Nhon Bac Ward, is also going through a difficult period when her house was destroyed and her husband was seriously injured and needed surgery. “During the difficult time, we received help from people, philanthropists, and now with the attention of the Trade Union, I am deeply touched. Without this support, I don’t know how I would have gotten back up,” Ms. Nhi confided.

Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan expressed his deep sympathy for the losses and damages caused by natural disasters in Gia Lai. He highly appreciated the initiative of the Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union and local unions in coordinating support, helping workers quickly overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and at the same time create conditions for businesses to restore production chains.
"Today's gifts not only demonstrate the responsibility of the Trade Union organization but also contain feelings to encourage and share with workers. We hope that union members will soon overcome the damage, return to work with peace of mind, and stabilize their lives" - Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan expressed.
Through concrete actions, Trade Unions at all levels have clearly demonstrated their role in accompanying workers in the most difficult times. Practical activities with a sense of responsibility and humanity exude a strong bond between the Trade Union organization and union members and workers, contributing to fostering trust and sharing from the community, especially in the context of increasingly complex and unpredictable natural disasters.
