According to PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL), from August 1 to 31, stores in Hanoi sold 238,000 liters of E10. In Hai Phong, two PVOIL stores also consumed about 100,000 liters. The Central region started selling from the end of August, with modest output.

Notably, in Ho Chi Minh City, Petrolimex said that 36 stores sold nearly 1.5 million liters in August, double the initial period, but only 1/10 of the RON95 gasoline output of the same system. Many customers chose to test E10, mainly motorbike riders, while car users were still hesitant.
