Cute and lovely princess or rabbit-shaped plastic lanterns with LED lights and cheerful music are popular choices for girls to play with during the Mid-Autumn Festival; while superhero, Capypara, or cleverly designed, brightly colored lanterns that reflect a dynamic personality are chosen by many boys." According to Ms. Thao, the demand for Mid-Autumn Festival toys and lanterns has already started to increase and is expected to rise even higher in the days leading up to the festival. Customers can find Mid-Autumn Festival toys for children at specialized children's toy stores or buy them on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Tiktokshop, Sendo, etc., with prices ranging from tens of thousands of dong to around 200,000 dong per item, depending on the type.

Currently, supermarkets like Co.opmart and LOTTE Mart prioritize displaying and selling a wide variety of smart, detachable lanterns and plastic lanterns in designs such as jade rabbits and the Vietnamese flag, priced from tens of thousands of dong to around 120,000 dong per item. Besides lanterns, supermarkets also offer various lion heads, plastic drums, masks, and accessories to meet the needs of Mid-Autumn Festival decorations, priced from tens of thousands of dong to around 200,000 dong per item. Toy brands like Mykingdom and TiniStore are also selling a wide range of Mid-Autumn lanterns along with smart Lego building toys, designed to suit different age groups of young children. With advantages such as being made from high-quality plastic, being durable and safe, and especially helping to develop motor skills and creative thinking in young children, smart building block toys from famous brands are often chosen by parents as gifts for their children during the Mid-Autumn Festival. These products are quite expensive, costing around 500,000 VND per item.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival, most parents tend to buy toys as gifts for their children.
