Unique moments in the special opening ceremony

For the first time, 26 million students across the country stood together in the schoolyard, facing the big screen, saluting the flag and singing the national anthem at the opening ceremony of the new school year.

This morning, all 52,000 educational institutions connected online, opening a school year full of determination and challenges. This is the first time that all educational institutions nationwide, students and graduates saluted the flag and sang the National Anthem at the same time in the opening ceremony of the new school year.

Attending the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the education sector and the opening of the new school year 2025-2026 were General Secretary To Lam; President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and other leaders of the Party, State, ministries and branches.

Before that, from early morning, students had gathered in large numbers at schools. In particular, first graders were led by their teachers to the ceremony area. Also attending were Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee; leaders of several departments and units under the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; and representatives of Thai Nguyen provincial departments and branches.

This year, grade 10 of Luong The Vinh School welcomes 189 students, divided into 6 classes with 3 groups: Group A, Group A1 and Group D.

The opening art performance at Luong The Vinh School was the parade "Journey of knowledge", the map formation "Drawing the shape of the Fatherland under the school roof" and the song-dance performance "Continuing the story of peace".

In the ceremony, the school broadcast the National Opening Ceremony: Flag salute, National Anthem, opening speech by the Board of Directors, student representatives promise and present flowers, and the drum beating ceremony to open the school year.

Tran Phu High School also held a bustling opening ceremony for the new school year this morning. The school currently has more than 2,000 students, including 837 grade 10 students.

In a joyful atmosphere, grade 10 students of Chu Van An High School solemnly paraded under the enthusiastic applause of teachers and all students.
