With the theme "Shaping the Future of Tourism: Towards Digital and Green Transformation", the TPO 2025 General Assembly is an important agenda for the tourism industry as it faces major challenges such as climate change, the need to personalize visitor experiences, and the explosion of technology and artificial intelligence.

Digital transformation and green transformation are not only trends but also vital factors to ensure the sustainable development of the tourism industry as digital transformation helps the tourism industry improve management efficiency, improve tourist experience and expand market access in a smart and fast way.

These are also two important pillars and strategies that impact the structure, identity and sustainable development direction of the global tourism industry towards the 17 sustainable development criteria of the United Nations.
