Born and raised in Hac Thanh ward, Le The Anh dreamed of becoming a doctor from a young age to help and treat the people of his hometown. After graduating from Hanoi Medical University in 2004, Dr. The Anh began working at the Intensive Care Unit of Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital. During his time there, he gradually accumulated experience, established himself in his field, and continued to cultivate a spirit of learning, completing numerous training programs in interventional cardiology at hospitals and cardiovascular centers both domestically and internationally, including Malaysia, Singapore, and Germany. With his tireless efforts and dedication, in 2022, Dr. The Anh successfully defended his Doctoral dissertation in Internal Cardiology at the 108 Clinical Medical Research Institute.

The Department of Cardiology at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital is a specialized clinical department responsible for admitting and treating patients with cardiovascular diseases in the province, including many severe cases and those with sudden onset of cardiovascular conditions. Under the leadership of Dr. Le The Anh, the Department of Cardiology has successfully mastered and implemented many advanced and specialized techniques, approaching the level of central-level hospitals. Among these, many complex cardiovascular intervention techniques have been routinely performed, such as: coronary angiography and intervention, cardiac electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation for arrhythmias, permanent pacemaker implantation, ICD implantation, peripheral artery angioplasty and stenting, aortic stent grafting, atrial septal defect closure, inferior vena cava filter placement, etc. These are the most modern and advanced techniques currently available, requiring a team that is not only highly skilled and proficient but also precise, with extensive clinical experience and the ability to flexibly handle complex situations during the intervention. Throughout his career, Dr. Le The Anh has "revived" the heartbeats of thousands of patients with cardiovascular diseases. Many severe, critical, and complex cases have been successfully treated and recovered, eliminating the need for referral to higher-level hospitals, thus reducing the burden on higher-level hospitals and saving costs for patients.

Notably, he was awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for his initiative "Evaluating the effectiveness of the Troponin I 0/1h regimen in the diagnosis of acute ST-segment non-elevated myocardial infarction at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital." Dr. The Anh's research topics all stem from practical treatment and have provided new solutions and improved treatment processes, aiming to shorten recovery time, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of life for patients.

In addition to his duties at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital, Dr. The Anh actively transfers medical techniques to lower-level hospitals, such as: transferring expertise in cardiovascular emergency care, teaching electrocardiogram classes, transferring interventional cardiology techniques to Hop Luc General Hospital, and transferring venous laser intervention techniques to Phuc Thinh General Hospital... Notably, Dr. The Anh is also willing to share his experience with young doctors, contributing to the training of the next generation to continue the mission of providing healthcare to the community.
