Accordingly, considering the proposal and recommendation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Report No. 3932/BVHTTDL-DLQGVN dated August 6, 2025 on proposing solutions to increase tourism growth to contribute to completing the national economic growth target in 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh has the following comments:
Promoting Vietnam tourism in Moscow, Russian Federation
The People's Committees of the provinces and centrally run cities: Hanoi, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Khanh Hoa, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City carefully study the content of the report and proposals and recommendations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the above document, proactively develop and focus on implementing and drastically implementing programs, plans, goals, tasks and specific solutions, creating breakthroughs in attracting tourists, at the same time reviewing and prioritizing upgrading and improving the quality of local tourism infrastructure in conjunction with the requirements of improving service quality and tourist experience, determined to strive to complete at the highest level the tourism development targets of each locality, contributing with the whole country to successfully achieve the goal of welcoming 25 million international visitors in 2025 under the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister.
Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee organizes the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair 2025 well, promoting the effectiveness and influence of the event to increase attracting international tourists to Vietnam.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant ministries, branches and localities to resolutely, synchronously and effectively implement tourism development solutions, including the solutions mentioned in the above document; monitor, guide and urge localities to implement; urgently research and develop programs, plans, orientations and comprehensive solutions to attract tourists in the coming time, including assigning specific tourism targets to each locality annually and in the medium term; promptly propose solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, report to competent authorities on issues beyond their authority; periodically summarize and report to the Prime Minister on the implementation situation and results every quarter.
