Khanh Hoa and Tay Ninh are chosen by many tourists for entertainment and recreation.

During the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2 (from August 30 to September 2), many tourists chose destinations in Khanh Hoa and Tay Ninh for entertainment, especially to experience emerging eco-tourism destinations.

On this occasion, the number of tourists to Khanh Hoa increased slightly, with more than 632 thousand visitors, up 10.35% over the same period. Of which, the total number of overnight guests was more than 275 thousand; international visitors were more than 68 thousand; the average room occupancy rate reached more than 79%; the total estimated revenue from tourism activities was more than 963 billion VND, up over 27%.

Some areas such as Bai Dai, Doc Let, island resorts, Binh Son - Ninh Chu beach, Vinh Hy bay... have room occupancy rates of over 80%. In the center of Nha Trang ward and Phan Rang ward, the average room occupancy rate is 60% or more, focusing on the 3-5 star hotel segment. Hotels along Tran Phu street, Nha Trang ward have room occupancy rates of about 70%.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province, during the 4-day holiday, security and order in the province were ensured. In Khanh Hoa, this year's National Day holiday has beautiful, cool weather, creating favorable conditions for people to visit, travel, and enjoy cuisine in many places. During the holiday, the Khanh Hoa tourism industry always prepares resources to serve tourists, many tourist attractions and entertainment venues offer many new products and incentive programs, serving the maximum needs of tourists. Tourism programs are also renewed, diversified, bringing many experiences to tourists.

During the 4-day holiday, Cam Ranh International Airport carried out 566 take-off and landing flights (316 international flights and 250 domestic flights), an increase of about 30% over the same period in 2024; the total number of passengers that Cam Ranh International Airport transported during this time was 106,432 passengers (an increase of about 35% over the same period last year).

During the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2, Tay Ninh tourism recorded many positive signals, becoming an attractive destination for a large number of tourists, with about 152,000 visitors, an increase of 27.8% over the same period last year; total revenue from tourism activities reached 117.4 billion VND, an increase of 44.7% over the same period; the average occupancy rate of accommodation facilities, hotels, and homestays in the province reached about 70 - 75%. In particular, during the peak holiday period, tourism activities in the province took place stably and safely, without any unfortunate incidents, creating a good impression on tourists.

Of the total number of visitors, the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area welcomed about 80,000 visitors. With the advantage of being a cultural and spiritual symbol of the province, along with a cable car system, modern architectural works and majestic natural landscapes, Ba Den Mountain continues to maintain its position as the top destination of Tay Ninh.

In addition, My Quynh Zoo - an emerging eco-tourism and entertainment destination in the province - also recorded more than 10,000 visitors. Other areas and spots such as Happy Land, Vam Co Farmstay, Chavi Garden, Milan Farm ... attract a large number of visitors, especially families and groups of young people looking to experience green spaces, close to nature. Recreational activities, sightseeing, culinary services and local cultural experiences at tourist areas and spots are all vibrant, meeting the diverse needs of visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Quoc, Deputy Director of Tay Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: “During the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, the number of visitors and tourism revenue increased strongly compared to the same period, reflecting the trend of choosing Tay Ninh as a favorite destination. The province continues to focus on developing unique tourism products, improving service quality and ensuring a safe and civilized tourism environment to retain tourists.”

In the coming time, Tay Ninh tourism industry will closely coordinate with businesses and localities to implement many promotional solutions, invest in infrastructure, and create new products associated with specific advantages. At the same time, the province continues to promote digital transformation in the tourism sector, applying technology to support tourists to easily look up and book services, contributing to improving the experience.
