The exhibition “Vietnam's Cultural Heritage - Vitality from Tradition to Modernity” will vividly and visually introduce the types of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and documentary heritage typical of Vietnam to domestic and international visitors.
This is the content of the Decision just signed by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong, on organizing activities to introduce Vietnamese cultural heritage on the occasion of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), in the Northern and Southern regions.
This activity will help the public better understand the historical, cultural, artistic and scientific values of national cultural heritages, contributing to educating traditions, national pride, and awareness of preserving cultural identity for all classes of people, especially the young generation.
In particular, organizing exhibitions in both regions helps people in different areas have the opportunity to access and enjoy typical cultural heritages throughout the country; reduce the gap in cultural enjoyment between regions, ensuring representativeness and balance in cultural heritage introduction activities.
Through introducing the heritage of different ethnic groups and regions, the cultural sector hopes to contribute to honoring the diversity in unity of the country's culture; promoting exchange, understanding and mutual respect among cultural communities in the country.
