Comments on the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress: New vision and approach

Assessing the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the country's foundation after 40 years of renovation, the Political Report of the 14th National Party Congress stated: The Party has firmly led the country to overcome difficulties and take advantage of opportunities to create development.

After 40 years of renovation, the country's potential, position and international prestige have been raised to new heights. The material and spiritual life of the people has continued to improve. The Party's leadership role has been consolidated, increasing the people's trust in the Party.

Giving comments on the draft Political Report of the 14th National Party Congress, Quang Ninh province party members all agreed and highly agreed with the contents of the draft.

Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hang (Deputy Secretary of the Quang La Commune Party Committee) shared that the Quang La Commune Party Committee received nearly 300 opinions from party members of party cells and grassroots party committees, along with more than 100 officials, union members, association members and people from all walks of life in society.

Most of the comments said that these are documents that have been carefully and seriously researched and constructed with a reasonable, logical structure, highly general, concise, clear, considered and selective; have many new points, new thinking, new vision and new approach, include some specific data, demonstrating a scientific , serious and responsible working process.

The contents that are consistently affirmed and covered throughout the draft document are to firmly uphold the principles, goals, and basic viewpoints and principles of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the Party building work, and to firmly uphold the goals of national independence and socialism that the Party and Uncle Ho have chosen.

The Deputy Secretary of the Quang La Commune Party Committee proposed that the Political Report should have more data to clearly and accurately reflect the achievements of the past 5 years and the profound changes in the new development context of the world and the country.

Mr. Bui Doan (retired party member of Ha Long ward) affirmed that the Party has led the country to continue to achieve important achievements (in the current document, it only stops at "important results"), quite comprehensive with many outstanding bright spots.

Economic development has basically achieved its main objectives; protection of resources, environment and adaptation to climate change have seen positive changes. Cultural, social and human development has made progress in many aspects; national defense and security have been constantly strengthened.

Foreign relations and international integration have been raised to a new level, achieving many outstanding results; Party building and rectification and the political system have achieved many important results.

Some cadres, party members and people commented that the draft Political Report of the Party needs to be supplemented and assessed more specifically the limitations, weaknesses, inadequacies and bottlenecks.

Party member Nguyen Minh Thuong (retired party member of Cao Xanh ward) suggested that the draft should specifically assess the limitations and weaknesses in current food safety management work due to the lack of proper attention to activities and the limited management effectiveness of functional sectors, leading to violations not being detected and handled promptly.

Along with that, in recent times, the management and use of resources and land have not been very effective; in many places there is still a situation of lax management, violations have occurred but have not been strictly handled./.
