According to statistics, Hue City has more than 1.4 million people in 40 communes and wards. By the morning of September 3, the locality had completed 93% of the gift giving, ranking second nationwide in terms of progress in giving Independence Day gifts. On September 2 alone, Hue led the country in simultaneously distributing gifts, helping hundreds of thousands of people celebrate the national holiday more warmly and completely.

Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Chief of Office of Hue City People's Committee, said: "This result is thanks to the efforts of local authorities at all levels. Many wards and communes have worked continuously, through the night, regardless of holidays to complete the delivery of Government gifts to the people."

A Luoi 1 commune officials guide people to sign to receive Independence Day gifts

A typical example is A Luoi 1 commune, which has a population of more than 11,429. Up to now, the commune has completed 100% of the work of distributing Independence Day gifts. Mr. Le Hoang Vu Hai Quang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of A Luoi 1 commune, said: "We mobilized all village officials and civil servants of departments, divided into 19 gift distribution points. On September 1 alone, the officials had to work until nearly 9:00 p.m. to finish. People are very excited to receive the attention of the Government and local authorities."

Not only A Luoi 1, but also the inner city wards of Hue have taken drastic measures. In An Cuu ward, the gift distribution has been carried out systematically and flexibly. The ward People's Committee Chairwoman, Ms. Hoang Thi Nhu Thanh, said: "We give gifts to the heads of the residential groups, then the heads are responsible for handing them to the residents and signing for receipt. For the elderly and those with difficulty traveling, the ward sends staff to their homes to deliver the gifts. After September 2, the ward will continue to notify those who have not received them to come to the ward People's Committee or contact the group leaders to receive the gifts."

People are excited to receive Independence Day gifts

The 100,000 VND Independence Day gift, although not of great material value, has a profound spiritual meaning, demonstrating the care and sharing of the Party and State with the People on the great national holiday. Many Hue people shared their joy when holding this small but meaningful gift. Some people used this money to buy a little more meat and fish to make their Independence Day meal more complete, some people gave it to their children as a gift, and some people carefully kept it as a sacred memory of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Throughout the villages, hamlets, and residential groups, the bustling atmosphere spread. Gift giving sessions were not just about giving and receiving, but also became an occasion for people to meet and share the joy of the country's Independence Day.

The People's Committee of Hue City affirmed that no citizen will be left behind. On September 3, the city's leaders directed wards and communes to carefully review and develop plans to continue giving gifts to households that have not yet received them. With a drastic and synchronous approach, Hue aims to complete 100% of the progress as soon as possible.

Phu Vang commune officials delivered the Government's Independence Day gifts to the people, ensuring they were timely and complete.

This initial success is a testament to the sense of responsibility and dedication of the local staff, and reflects the tradition of solidarity and affection of the people of Hue. This year's Independence Day, along with the red flag with yellow star flying all over the streets, the gifts from the Government have contributed to making the Independence Day atmosphere warmer, filled with confidence and national pride.
