Hanoi: Complete the Congress of women's delegates at the commune level before September 30

On September 3, the Hanoi Women's Union organized a training course to deploy the plan to organize the Women's Congress at the commune level for the 2025-2030 term, in both in-person and online formats.

Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Women's Union Pham Thi Thanh Huong said: The congress of women's delegates at the commune level leading up to the 17th Hanoi Women's Congress is an important event, aiming to summarize and evaluate the situation of the Union's work and the women's movement in the past term, draw lessons and propose directions, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term, meeting the requirements of leadership and development of the Union and the women's movement.

According to the plan, the Women's Congress at the commune level must be completed before September 30, 2025. For communes and wards that are not merged or consolidated, the congress will be held with 4 contents. In particular, focusing on evaluating the women's movement; summarizing the implementation of the Women's Congress resolution for the 2021-2025 term and determining the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term; reviewing the leadership and direction of the executive committee.

At the same time, discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the City Women's Congress, the 14th National Women's Congress and propose amendments and supplements to the Association's Charter; decide on the number and structure of personnel and elect the executive committee; elect delegates to the City Women's Congress.

For merged and consolidated communes and wards, the congress will be held with two contents. That is, evaluating the women's movement, summarizing the implementation of the resolution of the Women's Congress for the 2021-2025 term; determining the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term. In addition, focusing on discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the City Women's Congress, the 14th National Women's Congress and proposing amendments and supplements to the Association's Charter.

The Hanoi Women's Union plans to select the Tay Ho Ward Women's Union and the Ngoc Hoi Commune Women's Union to organize a model Congress, which will take place before September 13.

At the conference, leaders of the Women's Unions of communes and wards exchanged and discussed difficulties and problems and made proposals to well organize the Women's Congress at the commune level.

Concluding the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh discussed and shared information related to the Congress of Women's Delegates at the commune level towards the 17th Congress of Women's Delegates of Hanoi City. In particular, Ms. Le Kim Anh emphasized the need to strengthen digital transformation in propaganda work and the application of information technology in organizing the Congress of Women's Delegates at all levels.
