"Benjamin possesses a rare combination of incredible speed and the ability to physically overwhelm defenders, making him one of the best young talents in world football," said Jason Wilcox, Manchester United's Director of Football, after the Red Devils unveiled their Slovenian signing, Benjamin Sesko, just before the Premier League season kicks off next week.

Benjamin Sesko joined Manchester United from RB Leipzig for €85 million on a five-year contract. Sesko's arrival is expected to bring a fresh impetus to the Red Devils' attack, as the 22-year-old striker is considered one of the most promising young forwards in Europe.
Since joining Leipzig from Salzburg in 2023, he has scored 39 goals and provided 8 assists in 87 appearances. Last season alone, Sesko scored 21 goals in all competitions for the German club.
"We have been closely monitoring Benjamin's career. All our data analysis and research conclude that he possesses the necessary qualities and character to thrive at Man Utd."
"Working under the guidance of manager Ruben Amorim and our excellent performance team, Benjamin is joining the perfect environment to support him in reaching his world-class potential," former England football manager Jason Wilcox affirmed.
According to Jason Wilcox, Manchester United's transfer strategy this summer has been to only sign players who genuinely want to join the club. This has paid off, with Man Utd signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves, Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, and now beating Newcastle to secure Benjamin Sesko.

"All the new signings are eager to join the club this summer, highlighting the appeal and prestige of Man Utd as we continue to build and develop a team capable of competing for the biggest titles," Jason Wilcox affirmed.
Meanwhile, speaking at his club unveiling, Benjamin Sesko also emphasized: "Manchester United's history is special, but what excites me even more is the future with the club. When I heard about the team's plans, I saw this as the ideal place for me to develop and aim for big titles."
As soon as I arrived here, I felt the positive energy and the family atmosphere. This is the environment where I can reach the pinnacle of my career.”
Notably, the opening match of this season's Premier League will be a major challenge for Benjamin Sesko and for Man Utd as they face Arsenal on August 17th – the team that just won the Emirates Cup after defeating Athletic Bilbao early this morning (August 10th).
