Destroying a nearly 100kg bomb left over from the war

The bomb left over from the war, weighing nearly 100kg, was safely destroyed by authorities.

On May 8, the Krong No District Military Command coordinated with the Engineering Company, Dak Nong Provincial Military Command and functional forces to safely destroy a bomb weighing nearly 100kg. This was a bomb left over from the war.

Authorities moved the bomb.

Previously, the bomb was discovered by local people in a garden in Phu Vinh village, Quang Phu commune, Krong No district, so they reported it to the authorities. The Krong No district military command directed local forces to block off the scene, ensuring absolute safety to handle the bomb.

The bomb was detonated and safely destroyed.

According to the Military Command of Krong No district, the bomb was an AN-M88 explosive bomb, about 80cm long, 25cm in diameter, and weighed about 100kg. The forces moved the bomb to Duc Xuyen training ground (Krong No district) and safely destroyed it, following procedures, without any incidents.
