On the afternoon of January 28th, the fishing vessel QB.91221-TS brought the body of Mr. Pham Ngoc Lam (50 years old, residing in Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province), one of the three missing people, ashore in Da Nang to hand over to the authorities and his relatives.
Previously, on January 26th, two fishing vessels sank in the sea area approximately 56 nautical miles south of Nhat Le estuary. These included the TH90208-TS vessel captained by Mr. Pham Ngoc Lam (residing in Dong Duong village, Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city) and the QB91205-TS vessel captained by Mr. Dao Xuan Nhat (residing in Bao Ninh commune).
There were 11 crew members on board these two vessels, of whom 8 were rescued by other fishing boats, and 3 are missing.

On the morning of January 28th, the fishing vessel QB.91221-TS, captained by Mr. Nguyen Huu Sau (residing in Ha Thon village, Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city), which was engaged in logistics services, discovered a body floating in the water approximately 18 nautical miles off the coast of Da Nang .
The body has been identified as Mr. Pham Ngoc Lam (50 years old, residing in Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city), the captain of the TH.90208-TS vessel that sank on January 26th.
After recovering Mr. Lam's body, the vessel QB.91221-TS brought it to Man Quang Bay, Da Nang City, to hand it over to the authorities and his family.
The two remaining missing fishermen have been identified as Dao Van Ba and Dao Van Thuan (both residing in Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city).
The Border Guard of Quang Binh province continues to contact fishing vessels operating near the area where the two ships sank, and simultaneously informs the Command of Naval Region 3, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2, and the Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center Region 2 to assist in searching for the remaining fishermen in the two shipwrecks.
