Previously, at 5:00 p.m. on September 28, Mr. D went alone to the lake near his house to cast a net and fish. That same evening, when Mr. D did not return, his family organized a search and only reported the incident to the local authorities this morning (September 29).
Immediately upon receiving the information, Phong Thai Ward People's Committee mobilized the ward police force and other units and people to coordinate in searching the local lake area.

At more than 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, the body of Mr. D was found by the authorities and local people at Ong Vang beach, near the lake where Mr. D had the accident. The authorities brought the body to shore and carried out legal procedures, then handed it over to the family for funeral arrangements.
Currently, Phong Thai ward authorities have visited and expressed condolences to the victim's family and advised people to be careful when participating in activities near rivers and lakes, especially in prolonged stormy weather conditions.
It is worth mentioning that previously, Phong Thai Ward People's Committee had issued notices, warnings and prohibited people from collecting firewood and fishing during the time affected by storm No. 10 and the upstream hydroelectric reservoir was regulating water discharge. However, the above unfortunate incident still occurred.
