At approximately 2 PM on January 1st, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police received a report from the public about a person suspected of jumping from Mai Pha Bridge into the river in Dong Kinh Ward.

The victim's body was found in the river by authorities.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police dispatched one command vehicle, one rescue vehicle, one inflatable boat with a motor, and 10 officers and soldiers to the scene to organize the search.

Fire and rescue police forces of the Provincial Police brought the victim's body ashore.

As a result, at approximately 3 PM on the same day, authorities found the victim's body about 300 meters from the initial location. The victim was identified as Mr. NAD, born in 1994, residing in Block 11, Dong Kinh Ward. Authorities have now handed over the victim's body to the local government for handover to the family.

It is known that Mr. NAD left home on the morning of December 30, 2025, and received the heartbreaking news on the afternoon of January 1, 2026. The cause of the incident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
