The area from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh and some northern provinces is warned of possible flooding, flash floods and landslides on steep slopes, greatly affecting people's lives. Low-lying areas, riverside areas and agricultural production areas face high risks of damage.

In the past 24 hours, the provinces of Son La, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh , Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh all had heavy rain, some very heavy rain.

The meteorological agency warned of the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams and landslides in many communes and wards within the next 6 hours.
