The former Scottish manager attended the match at Old Trafford in the 35th round of the Premier League on the evening of May 3rd. However, Sir Alex suddenly felt unwell and was taken to the hospital by ambulance right at the stadium.
According to the BBC , taking Sir Alex to the hospital was a precautionary measure and not an emergency. Manchester United are optimistic that he will recover soon and be able to return home in a short time.

Sir Alex is considered the greatest manager in Manchester United's history. During his 26 years in charge (1986–2013), he brought in 13 Premier League titles and 2 UEFA Champions League trophies, laying the foundation for the club's golden era.
