First and foremost, it is a lesson in the spirit of independence, self-reliance, and the aspiration for development. The victory of April 30th is the culmination of the spirit of "nothing is more precious than independence and freedom," of unwavering will, daring to think, daring to act, and daring to sacrifice for the common goal. Today, in the context of deep international integration, that spirit needs to be transformed into a strong aspiration to rise up and build a powerful and prosperous nation. As General Secretary and President To Lam concluded at the Conference on the Implementation of Resolution of the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee, held on the morning of April 13th: it is necessary to strongly awaken the spirit of patriotism and the will for self-reliance and self-strength, considering this the most important endogenous driving force for rapid and sustainable development.
Secondly, the victory of April 30th left a profound lesson about harnessing the strength of national unity. In war, it was the solidarity of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army; in peace, it must be the collective effort and solidarity in socio -economic development. Thanh Hoa, with its strategic location, large population, and diverse potential, needs to continue consolidating national unity and mobilizing all resources from the people and the business community. "Unlocking resources" is not only about removing institutional bottlenecks but also about fostering trust and social consensus – a key factor in ensuring that all policies and initiatives are implemented effectively.
Thirdly, it is a lesson in the correct and wise leadership of the Party. The victory of April 30th affirmed the decisive role of the Party in formulating strategic guidelines and organizing their effective implementation. In the new era, the requirement is to continue to innovate leadership thinking, enhance governing capacity, and build a clean and strong Party and political system. In the spirit of Resolution No. 2 of the 14th Central Committee, there needs to be a strong shift from "management" to "development creation," placing the people and businesses at the center of service. This is also an important direction for Thanh Hoa to break through and become a major economic center of the region and the country.
Fourth, that historic victory also underscores the lesson of proactiveness, creativity, and decisive action. In the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, flexibility in leadership and boldness in decision-making created a decisive turning point. Today, that spirit needs to be applied flexibly and creatively, especially in the areas of administrative reform, innovation of growth models, development of science and technology, and digital transformation. Thanh Hoa needs to proactively seize opportunities from the Fourth Industrial Revolution, promote the development of key economic sectors, and significantly improve the investment and business environment.
Ultimately, it's a lesson about believing in the power of the people and putting the people at the center. Every victory of the Vietnamese revolution stems from the strength of the people. In the current period, caring for the people's lives, ensuring social security, and improving the quality of human resources are decisive factors for sustainable development. Every policy and initiative must originate from the legitimate interests of the people and be for the happiness of the people.
Upholding the spirit and will of April 30th in the new era is not only an expression of gratitude to the past but also an essential requirement for the present and future. With high political determination, great efforts, and the unity of the entire political system and the people, Thanh Hoa has every reason to realize the set goals, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, and building a stronger, more prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam.
