The organization is soliciting voter opinions on the content of the plan for rearranging and merging provincial and commune-level administrative units.

On April 15th, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province issued Plan No. 82/KH-UBND on organizing the collection of opinions from voters representing households on the content of the Project on rearranging and merging administrative units at the provincial and commune levels in Dak Lak province (hereinafter referred to as the Project).

Accordingly, opinions will be gathered from household representatives (head of household or a household member representing the household) residing and temporarily residing in areas directly affected by the administrative unit reorganization of Dak Lak province through the distribution of ballots. The voter consultation will be conducted in groups, with each group responsible for a village, hamlet, or residential area.

The People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities shall direct the People's Committees of communes, wards, and townships to compile voter lists for voter consultation from April 15-17, 2025.

Voters in Cu M'gar district contributed opinions and suggestions at the voter consultation meeting before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly .

The People's Committee at the commune level decides to establish a team to gather opinions from household representatives in each village, hamlet, or residential area. The team is headed by the Party Branch Secretary or the Village/Hamlet Head, or the Head of the Residential Area; the secretary and team members are representatives of political and social organizations in the village, hamlet, or residential area (or may include commune-level officials or civil servants).

The voter consultation team is responsible for preparing the necessary conditions for the consultation; receiving ballots and documents for the consultation; announcing the time and location of the consultation; distributing ballots, encouraging and guiding voters to fill them out; counting votes, preparing minutes, archiving documents, and sending them to the commune-level People's Committee to prepare a report on the results of the voter consultation.

The voter consultation period will be held on April 20th; after that, the groups will compile the results, prepare a report, and send it to the People's Committee of the commune before 8:00 AM on April 21st, 2025.

The People's Committees at the commune and district levels, and the Department of Internal Affairs will continue to carry out the steps of compiling and reporting the results, ensuring that the reports are submitted to the People's Councils at all levels for consideration and voting from April 21-24, 2025.

With the spirit of "running and queuing at the same time," the Provincial People's Committee requests relevant agencies, units, and localities to organize and implement the plan based on their functions and tasks, ensuring that it is carried out correctly in terms of content, purpose, requirements, and schedule; creating high consensus and unity among Party committees, government, and people in localities; and during the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or obstacles, report them to the Provincial People's Committee (through the Department of Internal Affairs) for timely resolution…
