Representatives of PTSC G&S with soldiers of Binh Thuan Provincial Border Guard
In recent years, PTSC G&S has always received support and coordination from the Border Guard forces nationwide and especially the Border Guard force of Binh Thuan province for the unit's marine survey activities. Therefore, PTSC G&S has actively responded to the call of the Border Guard Command of Binh Thuan province, contributing part of the funding for the renovation and construction of Base Point A6. This is an important milestone, playing a great role and mission in affirming Vietnam's sovereignty at sea. According to the Border Guard Command of Binh Thuan province, Base Point A6 on Hon Hai island was built many years ago. Over a long period of time with the impact of harsh climate, the project has degraded and needs to be renovated and upgraded. The renovation project of Base Point A6 was completely rebuilt after nearly 2 months of construction in harsh conditions on the highest peak of Hon Hai island to replace the previously built Base Point A6 which had degraded. The project is built with a monolithic reinforced concrete structure, 3.5m high, the column base is covered with red granite on 4 sides, engraved with bronze drum motifs; the column body is covered with granite on 4 sides, engraved with the words Diem ban ban A6 and embossed with the national flag on 4 sides.
Attending the inauguration ceremony, comrade Pham Xuan Nhan shared about the values that Base Point A6 brings, not only as a milestone affirming national territorial sovereignty at sea, but also as a shining symbol of the spirit of sticking to the sea, protecting the islands, protecting the Fatherland of the army and people of the province, especially the border guard force, contributing significantly to building a national defense posture associated with a solid national border posture, firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and security in the maritime border area.
