Many well-invested and diverse media products, ranging from short videos on TikTok and YouTube to community-based communication campaigns, demonstrate the strong transformation of the medical team in their approach to digital media. "More and more doctors are proactively participating in conveying medical knowledge in accessible and relatable language, contributing to delivering accurate information to the public while limiting the impact of fake news and misleading health-related content online," Mr. Tran Xuan Toan stated.

Mr. Tran Xuan Toan stated that the awards do not follow a first, second, and third place model, but instead focus on recognizing outstanding values relevant to each category. Individual titles include: KMOLs Dedicated Ambassador, Innovation Ambassador, Community Ambassador, Inspirational Ambassador, Digital Communication Ambassador… Collective categories include Health Communication Initiative Ambassador, Compassionate Communication Ambassador, and Inter-sectoral Cooperation Ambassador for Public Health.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Dr. Vu Manh Cuong, Director of the Central Center for Health Education and Communication ( Ministry of Health ), said that communication plays a crucial role in guiding people to prevent and control diseases, improve health care knowledge, and fill information gaps on social media. In the digital age, doctors and medical professionals, in addition to their expertise in treatment, need to become health ambassadors, directly conveying accurate knowledge to the community.
