General Secretary and President To Lam was pleased to see that Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 in Ulan Bator, Mongolia, is a leading national school, typical of the country'seducation .
According to the special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, within the framework of the State visit to Mongolia, on the morning of October 1, General Secretary andPresident To Lam and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation visited the Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 in the capital Ulan Bator.
General Secretary and President To Lam and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation laid flowers at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument and visited the Ho Chi Minh Traditional Room on campus.
Here, General Secretary and President To Lam wrote in his guestbook: “I and the high-ranking delegation of the Party and State of Vietnam are very pleased to visit Inter-level School No. 14 named after President Ho Chi Minh, one of the national key schools and a place that has trained many talented people for the beautiful country of Mongolia.
I congratulate and believe that the teachers and students of the School will continue to promote its glorious tradition, excellently fulfill its noble tasks and missions in the cause of "cultivating people," meet the expectations of the Mongolian people, be worthy of the title of the School named after the great President Ho Chi Minh and contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship between our two countries."
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, students of Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14, dressed in traditional Mongolian and Vietnamese costumes, performed cultural performances imbued with Mongolian cultural identity and songs about Uncle Ho.
Regarding the school's activities, the Principal of Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 Gungaajav said that the school has about 6,000 students, 238 teachers and staff. One of the typical activities of the school is to honor the great career of President Ho Chi Minh. The school's students learn about the culture and customs of the Vietnamese people.
On the occasion of the visit of General Secretary and President To Lam, the school officially launched a drawing, painting, photography, poetry and writing contest with the theme "Learning about Vietnam."
Principal Gungaajav expressed his gratitude for the affection and support that the Vietnamese people have given to the school to improve the learning environment for students.
Speaking at the visit to the school, General Secretary and President To Lam expressed his emotion at returning to visit the Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 during his State visit to Mongolia on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Mongolia diplomatic relations and also the 75th anniversary of the school's founding.
General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh was the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation of the Vietnamese people, contributing to the common struggle of nations for peace, national independence, democracy and social progress in the world. He was the first Vietnamese leader to officially visit Mongolia in 1955, and together with Mongolian leaders laid a solid foundation for friendly relations, opening a period of development and solidarity between the two peoples of Vietnam and Mongolia.
The General Secretary and President was pleased to note that Ho Chi Minh Inter-level School No. 14 is one of the leading schools in the country, a typical example of Mongolia’s modern and advanced general education, and has trained many leaders and talents of Mongolia. In particular, the school is also one of the symbols of the good traditional friendship between Vietnam and Mongolia.
On behalf of the Party and State of Vietnam, General Secretary and President To Lam warmly congratulated and commended the outstanding achievements that the teachers and students of the school have made in the cause of "cultivating people", contributing significantly to deepening the understanding between the people of the two countries as well as the "Vietnam-Mongolia Comprehensive Partnership."

General Secretary and President To Lam wished the Board of Directors, teachers and beloved students good health, much joy, and continued achievements in their noble career for the prosperous and happy future of the country and people of Mongolia.
In order to commend the achievements of "good teaching and good learning" and promptly encourage and motivate teachers and students of the school, General Secretary and President To Lam presented 50,000 USD in gifts from the Party and State of Vietnam to support the school in supplementing teaching equipment to prepare for the new school year 2024-2025.
On this occasion, the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi also presented gifts and Hanoi National University awarded scholarships to the school.
Inter-level School No. 14 was established in 1949 and is one of the cradles of talent training for Mongolia. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the Mongolian leaders decided to allow the school to be named after President Ho Chi Minh. In 2009, a statue of President Ho Chi Minh was built on the school grounds; in 2017, the Ho Chi Minh Traditional Room was inaugurated.
The school's educational goal and motto is "All for each student." Therefore, the educational program pays special attention to developing each student's individual abilities in all subjects...
The school has established a Vietnamese Club, attracting many students to participate. All students of the school have a certain understanding of President Ho Chi Minh and know how to sing Vietnamese songs and dance Vietnamese dances./.
