General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent a congratulatory letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin

On behalf of the Party and State of Vietnam, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent a congratulatory letter on the occasion of Mr. Vladimir Putin's re-election as President of the Russian Federation.

On the occasion of Mr. Vladimir Putin's re-election as President of the Russian Federation, on behalf of the Party and State of Vietnam, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent a letter of congratulations to President Vladimir Putin.

According to the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC), after counting 99.43% of the votes, Mr. Vladimir Putin won 87.32% of the votes.

Coming in second was Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) candidate Nikolai Kharitonov, winning 4.32% of the vote.

Next was candidate Vladislav Davankov of the “New People” party, who received 3.79% of the votes, and finally, candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) Leonid Slutsky, who received 3.19% of the votes./.
