Accompanying the General Secretary were members of the Politburo: Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee , and Chief of the Central Party Office; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security; and also leaders of the Central Party Office and the General Secretary's Office.

At the National Cyber ​​Security Center, the General Secretary extended New Year greetings to the officers and soldiers on duty; commending the forces for detecting, combating, and dismantling several major cases of high-tech crime and cyber fraud.

The forces verified and handled the situation very quickly, remained on constant standby, and demonstrated their capabilities, unity, professionalism, expertise, and modernity.

General Secretary To Lam emphasized that during the Lunar New Year celebrations, especially at midnight, officers and soldiers of the Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department need to continue to focus intensely on ensuring safety and preventing fraudulent activities in cyberspace, so that everyone can enjoy the spring and celebrate the New Year.

The General Secretary noted that 2025 is a significant year, while criminals are increasingly using modern technologies and more sophisticated fraudulent methods.

The General Secretary requested that officers and soldiers continue to build upon the achievements of the past year, maintain vigilance, be prepared for all situations, ensure the safety of critical national systems, and be ready to support units, organizations, and citizens in ensuring security and safety in cyberspace.

In today's era of rapid digital transformation, ensuring national sovereignty in cyberspace is a crucial and long-term task, a key factor in creating a safe and stable cyberspace for all countries, including Vietnam.

Later that evening, General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, inspected the readiness and combat preparedness of officers and soldiers on duty at the Command Center of the Air Defense-Air Force Command and extended New Year greetings.

The General Secretary requested that leaders, officers, and soldiers at the Command Headquarters continue to uphold the glorious traditions of the heroic Vietnamese Army, focus on thoroughly understanding the situation, contribute to protecting national interests, sovereignty, and security, and avoid being caught off guard or surprised in any situation.

At the same time, it is necessary to focus on Party building and building units that are truly clean, strong, comprehensive, absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people, and ready to fight and sacrifice for the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Sending New Year greetings, the General Secretary emphasized that the Party, State, and Central Military Commission leaders highly appreciate the fighting spirit and the ability to guard the skies and national airspace sovereignty. The people are also very reassured by the work ethic and the ability to firmly protect the Fatherland of the Air Defense-Air Force Command in particular, and the Vietnam People's Army in general.

The General Secretary emphasized that while the people were joyfully welcoming the new year, the soldiers remained vigilant against hostile forces and external interference plots, while simultaneously ensuring the safe air travel of the people.

General Secretary To Lam stated that, throughout the process of building and defending the Fatherland, the development, combat, and maturation of the Air Defense-Air Force have always been a priority for Party and State leaders, including President Ho Chi Minh.

Emphasizing that the Air Defense-Air Force is the core force in protecting the Fatherland, and the first force to advance towards becoming a regular, elite, and modern force, General Secretary To Lam affirmed that the Party and State leaders acknowledge and commend the achievements of the Air Defense-Air Force and requested that the Air Defense-Air Force continue to clearly demonstrate its spirit and will, grasp more modern technologies and techniques, master space and outer space; and continue to implement various aspects of its work, especially during the time when the country and people are celebrating the Lunar New Year.
