( Bqp.vn ) - On September 25, in Hanoi , the General Department of Logistics held a conference to review the implementation of the Law on Professional Soldiers, Workers and Defense Civil Servants in 2015. In the past time, the General Department of Logistics has strictly implemented the Law on Professional Soldiers, Workers and National Defense Officials in 2015 and the documents detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law in line with the practical situation and tasks of each agency and unit. Party committees and commanders at all levels have selected and proposed to the Head of the Ministry of National Defense to select and recruit professional soldiers, workers and national defense officials to ensure the right subjects, conditions, and standards according to the correct procedures, processes, and documents.

In addition, agencies and units strictly comply with the organization of the payroll, regularly review and grasp the quantity and quality of professional soldiers, workers and defense officials to arrange and use them appropriately; proactively overcome and limit the situation of excess in some places and shortage in others; comment, evaluate and classify closely, objectively, in accordance with the principles and authority of decentralization; closely coordinate with functional agencies at all levels, fully and promptly implement the regimes and policies for professional soldiers, workers and defense officials according to regulations; provide training for transfer of level, transfer of type, professional, technical and vocational training at the unit to improve qualifications, in accordance with the position and title held; review, consider and develop plans for retirement, demobilization, sick leave, resignation, and transfer of profession in accordance with current principles and policies... The extension of the term of active service, salary policy, and promotion of military ranks are implemented in accordance with regulations; Professional soldiers serving in the reserve force perform their duties in a disciplined and effective manner; policy work is carried out with care and attention. The team of professional soldiers, workers and national defense officials basically has a reasonable structure and quantity, and the quality is gradually improved, meeting the requirements of the mission.

To effectively implement and ensure the Law is strict and suitable to the requirements of the tasks, at the conference, delegates discussed and agreed to propose the development of a document detailing the implementation of Clauses 3 and 4, Article 36 of the Law on Housing for professional soldiers, workers and defense officials to create unity and convenience in implementation; continue to increase the fund for public housing and social housing so that these subjects have the conditions to participate in public housing and social housing projects, reduce difficulties, stabilize their families, and feel secure at work. At the same time, research and develop technical standards and training programs for intermediate-level military car drivers to improve salary policies for military car drivers, build a stable team of military car drivers, feel secure at work, and attract human resources for training car drivers.
