With 22 years of service, and 22 years dedicated to the role of Head of the Youth Union, Ms. Cao Ha Yen, a Dao ethnic minority teacher born in 1982, Head of the Youth Union at Bao Yen District Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary and High School, is always creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated, bringing many interesting and beneficial activities to students.

After graduating from the Central College of Arts Education with a major in Music Education in 2003, young teacher Cao Ha Yen took up a teaching position in her hometown of Bao Yen. In her first year, she was assigned to teach Music at Viet Tien Secondary School and served as the school's Head of the Youth Union. In 2004, Ms. Yen transferred to Bao Yen District Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary and High School. In addition to teaching music, she continued to be the Head of the Youth Union. With a strong sense of responsibility and a heart for her students, she regularly initiated and organized many beneficial Youth Union activities, helping students develop life skills and improve their overall education .

With the belief that creativity is the "key" to helping students love the subject, Ms. Yen flexibly applies appropriate teaching methods, regularly organizes extracurricular activities and cultural and artistic exchanges to allow students to explore creativity, express confidence, and help the school's arts and culture movement become increasingly vibrant.

Being from an ethnic minority and having attended an ethnic minority boarding school, she understands and feels close to her students like an older sister or a close friend. As a result, many activities and movements of the school's Youth Union are organized effectively, attracting the participation of members, such as: the "Small Plan" movement, youth projects, "Good Grades" campaigns, and gratitude programs. In addition, Ms. Yen proactively develops models for Youth Union members, such as: "Two Friends Helping Each Other Progress," "Friends Helping Friends," and actively participates in movements like: "Reading and Following the Youth Union Newspaper," "Children's Fun and Health," and "Advancing Towards the Youth Union," bringing high educational effectiveness to the students.

With a love for her profession and a passion for youth group activities, teacher Cao Ha Yen always excellently fulfills her assigned tasks, receiving the "For the Cause of Education" commemorative medal from the Minister of Education and Training ; twice receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union Council for "Outstanding National Youth Group Leader Teacher"; and the "Excellent Leader" badge from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union...
