Tottenham have achieved their goal of avoiding relegation.

In the final matchday, Tottenham's task was simply to secure a draw at home to avoid relegation. Roberto De Zerbi's team played confidently and solidly, exceeding expectations with three points. The goal that secured Spurs' survival was scored by midfielder Joao Palhinha, on loan from Bayern Munich.

At the same time, West Ham put in a valiant effort and secured a 3-0 victory against Leeds at home. However, that wasn't enough to keep Nuno Santo's team in the Premier League. The Hammers, with their state-of-the-art stadium, will be relegated to the Championship, finishing two points behind Tottenham.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Tottenham Hotspur have maintained an unbeaten record in England's top flight for over three decades. Meanwhile, West Ham will have to start all over again in the Championship, for the first time in 14 years.

The decision to appoint De Zerbi helped Tottenham bounce back at the most difficult point of the season. The North London club have lost only one of their last six matches, including three wins, creating a spectacular surge that West Ham have been unable to catch up with.

West Ham, Burnley, and Wolverhampton are the three teams relegated to the Championship. Conversely, Hull City, Coventry, and Ipswich will be promoted to the top flight of English football next season.
