On the afternoon of December 26th, the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Federation held its first General Assembly for the 2025-2030 term. Through this assembly, the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Federation hopes to find the best personnel to lead the federation in the new phase.
Accordingly, Mr. Phan Ngoc Huy was re-elected as President of the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Federation for the 2025-2030 term.
In recent years, the Muay Thai movement in Ho Chi Minh City has developed strongly, attracting a large number of young martial artists and many clubs to participate, creating a solid foundation for this sport.
Through training, amateur competitions, and exchanges, Muay Thai in Ho Chi Minh City is gradually improving the quality of training and expanding the training community.
Following the success of the congress and the development of the Muay Thai movement in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Nam Nhan (Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City) said he was very pleased with the continuous contributions of the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Thai Federation.
At the congress, Mr. Nguyen Nam Nhan stated that the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports had acknowledged the federation's efforts over the past period. However, Mr. Nguyen Nam Nhan also hoped that the federation would not rest on its laurels, but would continue to strive to improve the quality of training in order to find potential athletes for the country.
After being re-elected, Mr. Phan Ngoc Huy, representing the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders, departments, organizations, and individuals who have shown interest and contributed to the development of the Muay Thai movement in Vietnam in general.
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Federation also acknowledged the directives from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports for the new term. Mr. Phan Ngoc Huy stated that the Ho Chi Minh City Muay Federation will actively cooperate with other units to ensure the sustainable development of the Muay movement.
The Ho Chi Minh City Muay Thai Federation plays a core role in managing and training coaches, organizing tournaments, and connecting training facilities in the area. Over the years, the federation has focused on standardizing professional standards, supporting athletes, developing grassroots movements, and contributing to the sustainable development of Muay Thai in Ho Chi Minh City.
