Specifically, organize a program of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and programs to serve tourism needs during the New Year 2026: Coordinate with businesses (travel agencies, destinations, etc.) to promote sightseeing programs associated with historical sites such as sightseeing programs associated with the relic system of the Saigon Special Forces, relics associated with President Ho Chi Minh 's journey to find a way to save the country, etc.

Tourists who successfully book tourism products to HCMC (such as air tickets, hotels, entertainment) will receive additional discount vouchers, or services on food, entertainment, spa and health care in HCMC. The program will be promoted on Traveloka's platforms (website, facebook, tiktok...) and through KOLs (celebrities), KOCs (influencers) who cooperate with the platform. The total estimated socialization cost of promotional vouchers is 2 billion VND. Cooperate with Shopee e-commerce platform to promote Ho Chi Minh City cuisine in Ho Chi Minh City tourism events such as organizing food promotion booths, promotional programs, coupons, food passports, food experiences, etc.
Tourism businesses, service points, and tourist attractions organize direct tourism stimulus programs for tourists such as giving additional services, souvenirs, and postcards to customers using the services. Organize connections between travel businesses and accommodation establishments with OCOP entities in Ho Chi Minh City to organize booths and counters to introduce OCOP products at businesses and accommodation establishments; bring OCOP products into tourist accommodation establishments to introduce to tourists.
The city also organizes the promotion of events and festivals in Ho Chi Minh City until the end of 2025 with the main activities: Promotion through publications and video clips on flights on all international and domestic routes of Vietnam Airlines, at the airport and metro stations to promote destinations in Ho Chi Minh City through the contest "Ho Chi Minh City's Excellent Tour Guide 2025" - "Talented Guide" in the form of a reality TV show, organizing the selection of contestants and recording from September to December 2025 and broadcasting on Ho Chi Minh City Television with 8 episodes broadcasting the contest content held at typical and unique destinations of the City.

Organizing events and festivals to attract tourists to Ho Chi Minh City, including: The 3rd Ho Chi Minh City River Festival - 2025 with the theme "Bridge across time", the opening art program continues to be oriented as a highlight that the public is waiting for with serious investment in script content and modern performance technology. The program is a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day and is an affirmation of Ho Chi Minh City's vision of sustainable development in the new period, a vivid demonstration of the aspiration to integrate and position the City as a livable City, a global megacity. In addition, the festival also organizes many diverse and unique activities to attract visitors to the city such as art performances, culture, sports, entertainment, cuisine, street parades, unique, new, modern and culturally rich experiences... in all 3 areas of the city center, Binh Duong area and Ba Ria-Vung Tau area with different typical activities in 3 areas.
Effectively organize the 19th Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair (ITE HCMC) with the theme "Sustainable tourism, vivid experiences" to promote the image of destinations, products, and typical tourism services of Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular to the press, international tourism businesses and domestic tourists; create opportunities for tourism businesses to find business partners, introduce tourism products and services to domestic and international tourists, contributing to accelerating the recovery and development of the city's tourism industry; organize a series of activities to experience local culture, famtrip/presstrip survey programs for Buyers (international tourism investors) and international press to attend ITE HCMC. Especially within the framework of the Fair, Ho Chi Minh City organizes activities to introduce unique destinations of Ho Chi Minh City to reporters of international media channels.
Effectively organize the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) in 2025 (September 2025) with the theme "Shaping the future of tourism towards digital transformation and green transformation" including promotional activities and trade exhibitions for participating members.
The 5th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week in 2025 with activities of organizing spaces to introduce culture - art - tourism, year-end stimulus programs of tourism and service businesses in the city to the public and tourists.
Organize the 8th Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon in 2025 with the participation of about 20,000 athletes in all distances (5km, 19km, 21km, 42km), including about 6,000 international athletes.
The Department of Tourism also coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports to effectively promote the Ho Do International Music Festival and the Chinese Lantern Festival to attract tourists to attend, increase spending and length of stay.
