Sa Dec City hands over gratitude houses to martyrs' relatives

DTO - The People's Committee of Sa Dec City has just handed over two gratitude houses in Tan Khanh Dong Commune to Ms. Tran Thi Nam (born in 1964) and Mr. Bui Van Trung (born in 1966), children of martyrs who died in the resistance war against the US. The handover ceremony was attended by representatives of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Thap Province, the People's Committee of Sa Dec City and related departments and agencies.

Each house has an area of 100 - 134m2, solidly built with walls, corrugated iron roof and tiled floor. The total construction cost is 350 - 400 million VND/house, of which the central budget and Dong Thap Lottery Company Limited support 80 million VND/house, the rest is contributed by the family.

The donation of gratitude houses demonstrates the concern of the Party, State and local authorities in the work of gratitude, contributing to helping families of meritorious people stabilize their lives, continue to promote the revolutionary tradition of the family, work hard, produce and contribute positively to the development of the locality.
