Ho Chi Minh City deploys inspection teams to check numerous tutoring and supplementary education facilities.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - From now until the end of March, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will deploy inspection teams to check on extracurricular tutoring in 21 districts, Thu Duc City, and 16 high schools in the area.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just issued a detailed plan for inspecting the management of extracurricular tutoring in the city.

From March 17th to March 31st, the Department will deploy inspection teams to conduct on-site inspections of extracurricular tutoring at the Thu Duc City Department of Education and Training and 21 districts and 16 high schools in the city. Each district will have one day for inspection.

Each Department of Education and Training selected one primary school and one secondary school; Thu Duc City, however, selected two primary schools and two secondary schools.

The high schools on the inspection list include: Ten Lơ Man High School (District 1); Nguyen Thi Dieu High School (District 3); Ngo Quyen High School (District 7); Luong Van Can High School (District 8); Nguyen Du High School (District 10); Hung Vuong High School (District 5); Binh Chanh High School (Binh Chanh District); Mac Dinh Chi High School (District 6); Tran Phu High School (Tan Phu District); Phu Nhuan High School (Phu Nhuan District); Tran Van Giau High School (Binh Thanh District); Tran Hung Dao High School (Go Vap District); Ho Thi Bi High School (Hoc Mon District); Vo Truong Toan High School (District 12); Thu Duc High School, Duong Van Thi High School (Thu Duc City).

This is also the location where the Ministry of Education and Training delegation will inspect the management of extracurricular tutoring in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the Department's leadership, the inspection will include examining the guidance and management work of the Department of Education and Training and the implementation at educational institutions regarding Circular No. 29 on supplementary tutoring.

At the same time, review the implementation of the Prime Minister 's directive in Official Dispatch No. 10/CĐ-TTg dated February 7th on strengthening guidance on junior high school and high school enrollment and managing extracurricular tutoring activities according to authority and responsibility.

Previously, at the professional briefing conference of high school principals, the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, Nguyen Van Hieu, requested that high school principals thoroughly disseminate the content of Circular 29 to all school staff, teachers, and employees.

The Director of the Department emphasized the importance of ensuring that tutoring activities are conducted in accordance with regulations, openly and transparently, and avoiding abuse for personal gain.

Schools need to improve the quality of regular instruction so that students can learn effectively during class time, reducing the need for extra tutoring. Students should not be forced to participate in extracurricular classes in any form.
