Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung delivered a speech at the conference.
From the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, steeped in history for a thousand years, to the contemporary art space of Forestival, Ninh Binh is demonstrating a strategic vision and innovative approach to tourism development.
The Ninh Binh Tourism Promotion Program 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City is not only an activity to promote the destination but also a strong message about the transformation of the "Heritage Heart" towards a sustainable future.
The event was attended by over 200 delegates, including leaders from the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the Ninh Binh Tourism Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, Xuan Truong Construction Company, Viet Vision Media-Entertainment-Creative Joint Stock Company; tourism and travel businesses, artists, content creators, and numerous journalists.

Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh speaks at the Conference
"Heart of Heritage" - An approach to tourism from the depth of culture.
In an open and inspiring atmosphere, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung introduced the achievements, potential, and distinctive tourism products and services – a place where the exquisite beauty of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex and the rich culture of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu are combined.
But the highlight of this event is how Ninh Binh is "telling its story" in a new language: the language of living heritage, contemporary creativity, and sustainable development.
It is no coincidence that in 2025, Ninh Binh chose the image of "Heart of Heritage" as the overarching symbol for all its tourism and cultural activities.
With its geographical location in the North, where mountains, rivers, and plains meet, and preserving the traces of the Dinh and Le dynasties, Ninh Binh rightfully deserves to be considered the heart of ancient Vietnamese civilization, of cultural, ecological, and spiritual values that have endured and are now strongly reviving in the context of current tourism development.
The “Heart of Heritage” project and the “Forestival” 2025 music and creative festival include two main activities: the Creative Week and the Trang An-Ninh Binh “Forestival” music festival, which will be held in May 2025.
The Trang An-Ninh Binh Music Festival “Forestival” 2025 is expected to feature singers and artists such as Ha Anh Tuan, Den Vau, Vu Cat Tuong, Phan Manh Quynh, Hoang Dung, Quang Hung Masterd...
This is not just a single media product or festival program, but is built as an experiential ecosystem – connecting heritage spaces, local communities, performing arts, young creators, and sustainable tourism activities.
This also represents a new brand positioning strategy for Ninh Binh tourism in the post-pandemic period, as it enters a phase of focused and in-depth development.

The Trang An-Ninh Binh Music Festival “Forestival” 2025 is expected to feature famous singers and artists.
Forestival - A music and creativity festival that opens new doors for Ninh Binh tourism.
In addition to revitalizing its tourism image through creativity, Ninh Binh has also boldly positioned its cultural industry as a driving force for economic development.
The music and creative festival, titled "Forestival," planned to be held amidst the majestic Trang An landscape, will bring together artists from Vietnam and abroad, along with experiential activities and interactions between nature, art, and technology.
Forestival is clear evidence that Ninh Binh is not only relying on its existing natural resources, but is also actively seeking new forms of tourism: creative festival tourism, music and art tourism linked to heritage, targeting young tourists, international tourists with a taste for profound experiences and seeking local values.

A series of exciting events await tourists in 2025.
At the conference, Mr. Tran Song Tung also announced a series of major tourism events in 2025. These will begin with the Hoa Lu Festival (April 5-8) and the Trang An Festival (April 14-15), followed by the "Golden Tam Coc - Trang An" tourism week in May.
Following that are a series of rich cultural and tourism activities throughout the year, such as: a Famtrip program to survey tourism products, an international seminar on the Trang An heritage brand (July), the "Essence of Culinary Delights of the Ancient Capital" food festival (September), and especially the Ninh Binh Festival in November - a convergence of the cultural, tourism, and creative industries of the ancient capital region.
Besides activities organized locally, Ninh Binh also organizes promotional events outside the province, especially in Ho Chi Minh City - the economic powerhouse and major tourism center of the country.
Proactively connecting with the tourism business community in the Southern region, the media in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces demonstrates the dynamism, responsiveness, and clear market orientation of Ninh Binh tourism.

Delegates attending the Conference
Impressive numbers and a strategic vision.
According to Bui Van Manh, Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism: “In 2024, Ninh Binh tourism achieved impressive figures: 8.7 million visitors, an increase of 30%, including 1.5 million international visitors, an increase of over 220%. In the first quarter of 2025, Ninh Binh continued to record positive signs with 4.4 million visitors, including 516,000 international visitors, and tourism revenue reaching over 5,100 billion VND.”
Ninh Binh's tourism sector is not only growing in quantity but is also strongly shifting towards in-depth development, aiming for "Green - Sustainable - Harmonious" growth, with four strategic pillars. Among these, the development of tourism and cultural industries linked to the heritage economy is the spearhead of the province's economic development.
The goal is for Ninh Binh to become a centrally-governed city by 2035, a millennium heritage city, and a center for tourism, innovation, and heritage economy for the whole country and the Asia-Pacific region.

Singer Nguyen Duc Cuong (Rapper Den - Den Vau) answers questions related to the music festival at the press conference.
A sustainable path, a bright future.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Tran Song Tung affirmed: "Ninh Binh has always determined that tourism development is not just about attracting a large number of tourists, but also about improving the quality of life for the people, preserving cultural and natural values, and affirming the province's position on the national and international tourism map."
With its seamless blend of tradition and modernity, preservation and innovation, heritage and cultural industries, Ninh Binh is gradually painting a tourism picture that is profound, distinctive, and full of vitality.
"The heart of heritage" is ready to beat, waiting to welcome those who love culture, nature, and yearn for inspiring journeys.
