Determined to reach the finish line on time

In recent days, the weather has been erratic, but the construction site of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School at the new location (in Tan Ha ward, Tuyen Quang city) is still very urgent. Contractors have mobilized maximum manpower, machinery and equipment for construction, working hard in 3 shifts to put this important project into use before August 15, 2024, according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Mai Thanh Xuan, a worker in the formwork team of Ha Do 23 Joint Stock Company, who is working at the construction site of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School, said that the team members have clearly understood the plan as well as the timelines for completing the tasks deployed by the company. We divide the work into shifts, even though we have to work at night, but in the spirit of ensuring progress, everyone is trying very hard to carry out the task.

In the categories such as the learning block (A3); the learning service block and auditorium (A4); the lobby and standing traffic (A5); the auxiliary categories... also rumble with the sound of bulldozer engines. Mr. Hoang Van Nam, a construction worker of the learning service block and auditorium category, affirmed that with the current construction speed, the categories will be completed in just about July.

The construction unit of this project is a joint venture between Ha Do 23 Joint Stock Company and Nam Hai Construction Joint Stock Company. Mr. Bui Cong Tuan, Deputy Commander of Ha Do Joint Stock Company, said that the unit is in charge of constructing phase 1 of buildings A1, A2 and phase 2 of A3, A4, A5. Currently, buildings A1, A2 have completed the rough construction, are organizing painting, other items are also being urgently implemented. The company has mobilized over 170 workers and maximum machinery to work in 3 shifts (morning, afternoon and evening) to ensure construction progress and quality. Up to now, if the construction volume exceeds 40 days according to the adjusted plan, it is striving to complete and put into use the items before August 2024.

The project to build Tuyen Quang Specialized High School at the new location has a total investment of over 255.8 billion VND. Of which, the accumulated capital allocated by the end of 2023 is 130.5 billion VND, 100% of the allocated capital has been disbursed; the capital allocated in 2024 is over 43.8 billion VND and is being disbursed as planned. Regarding construction progress, the construction of the ground leveling part; the administrative block, the principal office, the 500-seat auditorium; the academic block has been completed. For the construction package of the study service block and auditorium (A4); the lobby and vertical traffic (A5) and auxiliary items... has completed 48% of the contract value. Specifically, Building A4 has completed 5/5 floors of the rough construction; Building A5 has 3 units, all 3 units have completed 4/4 floors; auxiliary items have been deployed synchronously to ensure on schedule.

Speeding up on the highway construction site

Construction throughout the 30-4 and International Labor Day holidays, accelerating on every item, even the smallest. That is the goal of the contractors constructing the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project.

Mr. Le Duc Tranh, Director of the Management Board of Package 24 - Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company, excitedly said that Package 24 is the largest package, constructing 20/22 bridges in the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project. To ensure the construction progress, the unit has mobilized 130 locomotives, large-sized equipment and 230 workers and technical staff to organize the construction in 3 shifts and 4 teams. In the immediate future, the contractor will focus on human resources and equipment to speed up the construction of 10 bridges that are likely to be flooded when the rainy season comes, then will construct 10 overpasses at intersections, overpasses for people... With the construction solution as the unit is implementing, the impact of the weather will not greatly affect the progress of the package.

Ham Yen Bridge across Lo River, connecting Tan Yen town with Tan Thanh commune, is the largest bridge item among 22 bridges in the expressway project. 5 construction points including: bored pile drilling of 4 bridge abutments and bridge girder piers are still being worked at full capacity by the construction force. Mr. Nguyen Van Quynh, Team leader of pier M1, affirmed that for the trust of the investor and to ensure the progress of the project, the workers are determined to work at all times, taking advantage of every moment, determined to complete ahead of schedule. According to Mr. Quynh, currently the Ham Yen bridge item has completed 20-30% of the workload, at this rate it will be closed by the end of 2024 and the bridge will be inaugurated on April 30, 2025.

Truong Son Construction Joint Stock Company constructs package No. 19 of Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project.

At package 19 constructed by Truong Son Construction Corporation, dozens of material transport vehicles along with hundreds of officers, engineers, supervisory consultants, workers, and laborers spread along the construction route. Mr. Nhu Xuan Hai, Deputy Commander of the construction site of package 19 shared that 8 construction teams including 1 bridge team; 2 sewer - underpass teams and road teams worked continuously regardless of sun or rain, maintaining 3 shifts, 4 teams on days off to strive to complete the set target early.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, an excavator worker, talked to us while driving the machine. He said that all the workers are speeding up their work, and that a delay in one step will affect the whole project, so everyone is working together for the common goal of completing the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway on schedule.

According to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Management Board, the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project has 6 packages. Currently, the packages have simultaneously deployed construction items for the road and bridge sections on the route. Contractors have mobilized 425 machines and equipment to focus on construction, including 107 excavators, 56 bulldozers, 84 vibrating rollers, 153 cars, 10 cranes, 15 bored pile construction equipment... to focus on accelerating each item right from the first phase of the project.

Contractors constructing key projects of the province have clearly recognized their responsibilities, so they have organized work without days off, ensuring the projects are put into operation on schedule, contributing to promoting socio -economic development to make Tuyen Quang an attractive destination for investors, bringing a prosperous life to the people.
