The newspaper and the local authorities will continue to maintain and promote activities of gratitude, not only to remember our origins but also to extend the tradition of close ties and companionship with the people in all stages of development," affirmed Editor-in-Chief Truong Thanh Trung.

A large number of people from Dong Xuan commune attended the program.

On the morning of January 15th, in Hanoi, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front of Dong Xuan commune, in coordination with Dai Doan Ket Newspaper and the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Bank ( Agribank ), organized a program to present Tet gifts for the year 2025 to poor households and families entitled to preferential policies in Dong Xuan commune (Soc Son district, Hanoi).

Attending the program were journalist Truong Thanh Trung, Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, Deputy Editors-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper: Nguyen Dang Khang, Nguyen Van Dung, along with staff and reporters of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, representatives of Dong Xuan commune, and representatives of Agribank.

Sharing the joy with the people of Dong Xuan commune during the Lunar New Year, Editor-in-Chief Truong Thanh Trung shared that the end of the year is a time for us to reflect and look back to our roots – the origin of noble values. In a warm and affectionate atmosphere, the staff and reporters of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper returned to Xuan Ky village (Dong Xuan commune, Soc Son district) – the place that witnessed the birth of the first issue of Cuu Quoc newspaper more than eight decades ago. This was not only an opportunity to recall the glorious tradition but also to express deep gratitude to the local people and officials who have always been a support for the newspaper during its difficult early days.

"In 2024, despite facing numerous challenges, the staff, reporters, and editors of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper made tireless efforts and successfully completed their assigned political tasks. The newspaper's information and propaganda work contributed to strengthening national unity and creating broad consensus among all strata of people both domestically and internationally. These efforts have been recognized through many commendations and awards from press management and supervisory agencies," Editor-in-Chief Truong Thanh Trung emphasized.

According to Editor-in-Chief Truong Thanh Trung, facing a new era, as the country embarks on a journey to realize its aspiration of becoming a powerful nation, a civilized society, and a prosperous and happy people, Dai Doan Ket Newspaper is deeply aware of its role and mission. Revolutionary journalism, including Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, needs to be a pioneer on the ideological front, becoming a guiding banner in spreading the aspiration for development and national unity, and truthfully reflecting the spirit of the times. Every officer, reporter, and editor of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper needs to carry within themselves a spirit of innovation, dedication, and responsibility.

At the event, representatives from Dai Doan Ket Newspaper and Agribank presented gifts to veteran revolutionary cadres, families with meritorious contributions to the revolution, and disadvantaged households in Dong Xuan commune. Dai Doan Ket Newspaper also donated meaningful gifts to the Dong Xuan Commune Education Promotion Fund and the Fund for the Restoration and Preservation of the Xuan Ky Revolutionary Traditional House.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh (a relative of a person who rendered meritorious service to the revolution, residing in Xuan Ky village) expressed his gratitude for the attention given by Dai Doan Ket Newspaper and Agribank to people who rendered meritorious service, policy beneficiary families, poor households, and households with difficult circumstances in Dong Xuan commune.

On behalf of the people, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh (a relative of a person who rendered meritorious service to the revolution, residing in Xuan Ky village) expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the concern shown by Dai Doan Ket Newspaper and Agribank towards people who rendered meritorious service, policy beneficiary families, and households in difficult circumstances in Dong Xuan commune.

“Every Lunar New Year, families receiving government assistance and those in difficult circumstances in Dong Xuan commune always receive special attention from Dai Doan Ket Newspaper.
