The built-in templates are built based on feedback from the content creation community and easily integrate into Meta's Edits app. The underlying technology is Movie Gen AI – Meta's AI model for creating and processing videos.

Currently, the feature is still limited to 50 preset command templates and a maximum video length of 10 seconds, but Meta says it will update with more flexible options this year.
