Deploying Smart Medical KIOSK Solution Program

(HG) - In order to serve and meet the needs of people for medical examination and treatment without using cash at public medical facilities in the province, as well as to implement Project 06/CP of the Government, recently, Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank ( HDBank ) Hau Giang branch has deployed the Smart Medical KIOSK Solution Program for public medical facilities in the province.

HDBank Hau Giang branch introduces solutions to implement smart medical KIOSK for public medical facilities in the province.

Accordingly, patients are identified and electronically authenticated with their chip-embedded citizen identification information with data from the Center for Research - Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification and facial recognition at the smart medical KIOSK, to verify and initialize patient codes in the hospital management software system.

In addition, the deployment of the smart medical KIOSK solution will promote cashless payment of hospital fees by integrating the creation of a hospital payment account with the patient's chip-embedded citizen identification card to carry out cashless payment transactions in medical facilities. Through this solution, medical facilities will no longer have to worry about managing advances and refunds of hospital fees and will aim for 100% cashless payment of hospital fees. The goal in 2024 is to strive to complete the deployment of smart medical KIOSK at 18 public medical facilities in the province.
