(HG) - In order to serve and meet the needs of people seeking medical examination and treatment without using cash at public medical facilities in the province, as well as to implement Government Decree 06/CP, recently, Ho Chi Minh City Development Commercial Bank (HDBank) Hau Giang branch has launched a smart medical KIOSK solution program for public medical facilities in the province.
HDBank's Hau Giang branch introduces solutions for implementing smart medical kiosks for public healthcare facilities in the province.
Accordingly, patients are identified and electronically authenticated using their chip-embedded citizen identification card information with data from the Center for Research and Application of Population and Citizen Identification Data and facial recognition at smart medical kiosks, to verify and generate patient codes in the hospital management software system.
Furthermore, the deployment of smart medical kiosks will promote cashless hospital fee payments by integrating the creation of payment accounts with patients' chip-embedded national identity cards to facilitate cashless transactions within healthcare facilities. Through this solution, healthcare facilities will no longer worry about managing advance payments and reimbursements, and will move towards 100% cashless hospital fee payments. The goal for 2024 is to complete the deployment of smart medical kiosks in 18 public healthcare facilities in the province.
