MICHELE D'ERCOLE, PRESIDENT OF THE ITALIAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION IN VIETNAM (ICHAM):
Strengthening trade connections
We will strengthen our presence and operations in Da Nang and the Central region with two main pillars: connecting trade through regularly organizing B2B sessions, industry-specific seminars, and direct visits to other businesses and technical partners;
The aim is to encourage investment based on pre-feasibility studies, introduce suitable financial instruments, and connect supply chains to shorten the time from "exploration" to "action" for Italian businesses.
Simultaneously, ICHAM will strengthen its investment information and communication efforts regarding Da Nang, and is ready to support Da Nang and local businesses in organizing direct investment promotion activities in Italy.
Our goal is to create an effective two-way promotional cycle: bringing Italian businesses closer to Da Nang and, at the same time, bringing Da Nang directly to the Italian market with the right message, data, and partners.
MR. NGUYEN NGOC BINH, CHAIRMAN OF THE DA NANG CITY FEDERATION OF FRIENDSHIP ORGANIZATIONS:
Strengthening people-to-people diplomacy
The Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations continues to expand its network of partners, strengthening connections between Da Nang city and other localities, organizations, individuals, and international friends.
At the same time, we will maintain, strengthen, develop, and further deepen friendly relations and cooperation with international partners, including neighboring countries, traditional friends, countries with special relations, comprehensive strategic partners, and strategic and comprehensive partners.
Furthermore, actively act as a bridge to promote trade and economic cooperation between Da Nang and other countries; coordinate with relevant sectors, integrate people-to-people diplomacy with investment promotion, cultural promotion, and economic diplomacy , creating a ripple effect and enhancing the effectiveness of the city's international integration.

Associate Professor Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of Da Nang University of Economics:
Preparing human resources for the new wave of FDI.
The school is committed to preparing and supplying high-quality human resources for the new wave of FDI, contributing to building a modern human resource ecosystem in finance, technology, and management, meeting the requirements of the city's rapid and sustainable development.
The university is actively developing talent training programs, business cooperation programs (Co-op), and postgraduate programs taught entirely in English, aiming to improve the quality of human resources, enhance international integration capabilities, and meet the demand for highly skilled personnel in the FDI business sector, the financial center, and the innovation hub of Da Nang in the new era.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Cong Thuat, Head of Training Department, Da Nang University of Technology:
Businesses and schools co-create value.
In the context of digital transformation, deep integration into global supply chains, and the urgent need for high-quality human resources, the relationship between universities and FDI enterprises needs to be redesigned towards co-creation of value, sharing strategies, and long-term commitment.
For effective collaboration between universities and FDI enterprises, synchronized mechanisms are needed, such as: tax incentives for enterprises participating in training and research; a public-private partnership research fund; sharing of labor market data; and the completion of the legal framework for internships, credit transfer, and student recruitment. Only when universities and enterprises participate together in the knowledge-technology-human resource value chain, supported by national policies, will cooperation be truly sustainable and make a practical contribution to the country's development strategy.
