On the morning of April 22nd, in Phuoc Hoi ward, La Gi town, the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan Province Branch, the Provincial Library, and Phuoc Hoi 1 Secondary School organized an exhibition of documentary and news photographs on the theme "The Life and Career of President Ho Chi Minh," in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The exhibition displays over 100 black-and-white and color photographs, including documentary and news photos, showcasing: everyday life, simple moments during his lifetime, his life and career; and mementos of President Ho Chi Minh… Highlights include: President Ho Chi Minh tilling the soil to plant vegetables in the Presidential Palace garden in 1957; Uncle Ho caring for fish in a pond at the Presidential Palace, Hanoi ; Uncle Ho with a delegation of heroes and emulation fighters from the People's Liberation Armed Forces of the South in 1965…
These precious images bear witness to the simple, virtuous life of President Ho Chi Minh, who was close to the people, respected the people, and was filled with love for humanity, labor, and nature. The image of Uncle Ho, always so endearing and humble in his worn clothes and rubber sandals, evokes deep emotion in viewers.
In addition, the exhibition also features images of the Dinh Thầy Thím Festival and the Dốc Ồng Bằng revolutionary historical site. The exhibition also includes a space displaying documentary and artistic photographs of La Gi town in particular and Binh Thuan province in general.

This is the first time the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan Province Branch has collaborated with other organizations to hold a photo exhibition and mobile library in La Gi town. The exhibition provides people, especially the younger generation, with the opportunity to access valuable documents and artifacts to better understand and appreciate the character, resilience, and simple yet noble life of President Ho Chi Minh; to express their respect, gratitude, and pride in his life and career; and to educate students about the ethics and personality of President Ho Chi Minh.
Each teacher sets a good example, creating a favorable environment to help students strive for excellence in their studies and self-cultivation. This is also an opportunity to encourage cadres, soldiers, and all sectors of the population to actively promote the effective implementation of studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh.
In addition to the exhibition, the Organizing Committee also deployed a mobile library vehicle at the premises of Phuoc Hoi 1 Junior High School in La Gi town to serve teachers, students, and local residents who came to visit and read books. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded 10 scholarships and 4 sets of books about President Ho Chi Minh to schools in La Gi town.
The exhibition runs until April 23rd.
