The exhibition attracted public attention.

The exhibition opened on the afternoon of May 1st at the Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center in Hue (15 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa District).

There, viewers encounter renowned names such as Vo Quang Hoanh, Dang Mau Tuu, Phan Thanh Hung, Nguyen Thi Hue, Tran Huu Nhat, Le Hoa, Hoang Thanh Phong, Nguyen Phuoc Nhat, Hoang Xuan Hieu, Tran Quang Thang, Pham Dinh Thai, Nguyen Van Tan, Le Tien Nhan… through 40 works in various genres. Each work conveys a story and a meaningful message about the Vesak festival, the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha.

According to the organizers, this exhibition is an opportunity to honor the spiritual and aesthetic values and deepen the Buddhist culture of Hue that has been cultivated over centuries. It is also the culmination of artisan talent, a focal point and shining light of national culture, and the voice of compassion, wisdom, and faith in the path to enlightenment.

The exhibition will be open from now until the end of the Vesak Buddha's Birthday Celebration PL.2569-DL.2025.

The painting of lotuses by artist Le Hoa is on display at the exhibition.

The Organizing Committee of the Vesak Buddha's Birthday Celebration 2569 (Buddhist Era 2025) in Hue City announced that a ceremony to light up seven lotus flowers on the Perfume River will be held on the evening of the same day. These seven lotus flowers will remain illuminated throughout the Buddha's Birthday season.

Lotus flowers are placed on the Perfume River.

Previously, seven lotus flowers were launched and placed on the Perfume River. Each lotus flower has a diameter of 7.6m, a height of nearly 4m, and weighs 300kg.

The seven lotus flowers on the Perfume River first appeared during the United Nations Vesak Day celebration in 2008, as an idea, implementation, and donation by young monks and nuns in the ancient capital. To date, 17 years later, these seven giant lotus flowers have been maintained and present on the Perfume River, becoming a tradition signaling the arrival of Buddha's birthday.
