In 3 days, Binh Duong's new public administration center processed more than 19,000 records.

(PLVN) - Since June 16, all 36 new commune and ward-level Public Administration Service Centers (PVPHC) in Binh Duong have officially started trial operations.

After only 3 days of simultaneous implementation, the centers received a total of 19,075 records, of which 13,509 records were processed and returned results, reaching a rate of 70.8%. The remaining records were transferred to specialized departments at the district level, the Branch of the Land Registration Office and the Public Security sector for further processing according to regulations.

The communal-level PVHCC system is currently implementing 718 administrative procedures, including 253 provincial-level procedures, 447 communal-level procedures and 18 procedures related to the land sector. A total of 568 staff are assigned to work at the centers, an average of 12-15 people per commune or ward.

Previously, during the 7-day trial operation in some key communes and wards, the Standing Committees of the new commune and ward Party Committees held many expanded meetings with key officials expected from the grassroots political system. The goal was to assign specific tasks to each individual and unit to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the government apparatus as well as the public administration center.

Specialized agencies are also urgently drafting working regulations, defining the functions, tasks and organizational structure of each unit. The review and adjustment of documents in preparation for the Party Congresses at the commune and ward levels after the reorganization and merger are also being carried out in accordance with the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi highly appreciated the seriousness and proactiveness of all levels, sectors and localities in implementing the new model. The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the trial operation is an important "trial run" step, aiming to promptly detect and adjust shortcomings before officially putting the new apparatus into operation from July 1. Mr. Loi requested the units to focus highly, ensuring that the transition process does not affect the settlement of administrative procedures for people and businesses.
