The two countries also decided to extend the visa-free policy for each other's citizens until the end of 2027, applicable to visas for tourism, business, trade, and exchange programs. In terms of education , there are currently over 80,000 students from both countries participating in exchange programs. President Putin stated that the two countries will continue to promote cooperation in the field of education.

President Xi Jinping said that relations between Beijing and Moscow are at the “highest level of comprehensive strategic partnership,” and called on both countries to oppose “all forms of unilateral bullying” in the international arena.

"The relationship between the two countries has reached its highest level in history," President Xi Jinping said after the signing of cooperation documents.

The two leaders also shared common views on many international issues. Regarding North Korea, the joint statement clarified that both countries oppose economic sanctions, pressure tactics, and actions that threaten Pyongyang's security. Moscow and Beijing will continue to cooperate closely to promote a political solution to the problems on the Korean Peninsula.

Both countries criticized the US for its irresponsibility in failing to promote an alternative treaty to the nuclear arms control agreement (New START), and argued that the "Yellow Dome" system being promoted by the US poses a threat to global strategic stability.

Putin said Russia is ready to cooperate with partners, including the US, and discussed this possibility during his meeting with Xi. For his part, Xi shared the results of his summit with US President Donald Trump with Putin, according to Xinhua.

The Chinese leader called for an end to the conflict in the Middle East and stated that "a comprehensive ceasefire is extremely urgent."

"An early end to the conflict will help minimize disruptions to energy supply stability, the smooth operation of industrial and supply chains, and the international trade order," added Xi Jinping.
