Exemplary police officer

After nearly two months since its launch, the Propaganda Department of the Thang Binh District Party Committee has received 24 video clips titled "Steadfastly Marching Under the Party Flag" from the Party committees of 22 communes and towns; the District Police Party Committee, and the District Health Center.

Each entry must be 7 minutes long (according to the regulations), in which contestants introduce themselves, their Party branch, Party committee, and the unit or locality where they live and work; and praise the greatness of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.

Simultaneously, candidates must express their awareness, thoughts, pride, and trust in the Party's leadership in the cause of building, protecting, and renewing the homeland. In addition, candidates must perform a talent act praising President Ho Chi Minh or the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The "Steadfast Under the Party Flag" contest in Thang Binh district is expected to have its awards ceremony in August 2024. With interactive prizes awarded on the Facebook social media platform via the "Thang Binh Information" Fanpage, the video clips have so far attracted over 150,000 views, 23,894 likes/reactions (according to the rules), 7,866 positive comments, and 23,320 shares.

Assigned to work at the Binh Trieu Commune Police Station, Lieutenant Le Dai Y has always upheld the motto "close to the people, respect the people, and be close to the grassroots." During his time in service, Lieutenant Le Dai Y has directly participated in investigating and solving cases related to security and order in the area. Through this, he has promptly deterred crime and contributed to ensuring security and order in the rural area of ​​Binh Trieu.

Besides gathering information about the local area, incidents, and individuals involved, Lieutenant Le Dai Y also studied the history of the struggle, defense, and development of the Party Committee, the army, and the people of his heroic hometown of Binh Trieu. He also witnessed the pride of the people in their homeland, their trust in the Party's leadership, and their unwavering commitment to the path chosen by the Party and beloved President Ho Chi Minh.

It was his unwavering faith in the Party and the people that led him to wholeheartedly serve them. In early 2023, Lieutenant Le Dai Y was awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the Minister of Public Security for his outstanding achievements in the "Youth Police Officers' Vanguard Movement, Making Meritorious Deeds for National Security," contributing to the protection of national security and ensuring social order and safety.

That ideal was expressed by Lieutenant Le Dai Y in the song "The Party is My Life" (composed by Nguyen Duc Toan) as part of his talent. This reaffirms his belief in the lyrics: "The Party is my life, I will follow Him forever."

Follow your ideals

For many years, reading the verses of poet Tố Hữu when he joined the Party – "From then on, a summer sun burst forth in me / The sun of truth shone through my heart" – inspired teacher Nguyễn Thị Hoàng Oanh, working at Bình Trị Kindergarten, to strive her best in her studies, cultivate her morals, and actively participate in school activities so that she could one day have the honor of joining the Party.

Since 2016, when her dream of joining the Party came true, teacher Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh has always believed in and steadfastly moved forward on her journey of "sowing seeds".

"Having spent seven years working and participating in Party activities, looking back at the 94-year history of our Party, I am even more proud and confident in our glorious Party and our beloved President Ho Chi Minh."

"That pride is the foundation that helps me overcome all difficulties, steadfastly march under the Party's banner, determined to cultivate virtue, hone my talents, and perfect my professional skills," teacher Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh confided.

In the talent section, teacher Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh performed the song "Uncle Ho, a boundless love" by the late composer Thuan Yen. The lyrics expressed unspoken feelings for the beloved father of the nation. Although Uncle Ho has passed away, the image of a great leader who dedicated his entire life to the country and its people remains in the hearts of every Vietnamese citizen.

Ms. Vo Thi Doan Trang, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Thang Binh District Party Committee, said that the "Steadfastly Marching Under the Party Flag" competition was organized with the desire to convey the message of faith and pride of cadres, Party members, civil servants, employees, and people in the district who are always steadfastly loyal to the Party.

Many participating units researched and submitted valuable documentary footage tracing back through history to examine the context and origins of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

This further affirms the sacred historical value, inspiring contributions to building the homeland of Vietnam with great confidence and pride, as General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong once stated, "Our country has never had such potential, position, and international prestige as it does today."
