Youth Union members of Ha Trung district support and guide people to pay money on QR codes of banking apps.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, a group of authors from Ha Tan Primary School (Ha Trung) came up with the idea of implementing the model "Historic Dien Bien Phu Victory". This model won first prize in the Thanh Hoa Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2024 and won a national consolation prize.
The operating principle of the model is to supply 220V power through an adapter to convert the current down to 12V, the current goes through the module and then to the motor, the character in the model is connected to the motor by a small stainless steel wire with a swivel joint at both ends, when the power is supplied, the motor rotates, at the same time pulling the character to move. From there, the speed of the character can be adjusted fast or slow with the speed control knob of the module. Through the model, students can better understand the heroic history of the nation, especially the glorious victory of our army and people in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
In Nong Cong district, in order to help patients take medicine on time, the authors of Hoang Son Primary School and Hoang Giang Secondary School have built a model of "Smart Medicine Box" - a technological product to support users in managing daily medication therapy, especially those who have to take medicine on schedule such as patients with chronic diseases or multiple diseases at the same time. This is especially useful for the elderly, people who are forgetful or busy with daily work. The model "Smart Medicine Box" won the Second Prize in the Thanh Hoa Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2024.
Identifying the important role and position of the "Creative Youth" movement, in recent times, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has developed an action program to implement many synchronous and specific solutions, focusing on promoting the vibrant emulation movement "Youthful Creativity" at grassroots youth unions, associated with implementing the campaign "Each youth has an idea, initiative, and creativity"; competitions "Technical Creativity", "Creative Youth, Teenagers, Children", "Creative Ideas"... Through the movement, union members and youth have been encouraged to promote initiatives and creative ideas, contributing to increasing productivity, quality, and efficiency in studying, working, laboring, producing, and doing business.
In 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, the Youth Union at all levels will continue to implement Conclusion No. 02 of the Central Youth Union Standing Committee on solutions to promote creative activities among youth and children. The whole province has organized 22 scientific research conferences, 125 scientific research topics of students and young lecturers; 12 models of support for study consulting and scientific research have been deployed; 115 initiatives and creative solutions in production and business, 89 initiatives and creative solutions in work and serving the people have been implemented; 1,650 young talents have been honored, 20 young talents have been nurtured and supported.
Along with that, the activities of participating in digital transformation have also been strengthened by the Youth Union and maintained effective operations with more than 4,000 community digital transformation teams; the rate of youth and children accessing digital capacity building activities has reached over 70%; young people using online public services and using electronic payment accounts is increasingly popular. Digital transformation models such as: "Digitizing red addresses, historical revolutionary sites, famous landscapes and landscapes, Youth Union activity newsletters on Zalo, Facebook, YouTube application platforms", implementing the model "Food map", "Cashless weddings and streets", "Smart tourism with virtual reality", "Register to participate in volunteer activities online" ... continue to be developed and replicated. Notably, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has implemented 2 provincial-level projects to digitize historical revolutionary sites in the province; Organize a Golden Bell contest to learn about digital transformation knowledge among union members and youth in 2024; coordinate with departments and branches to organize an online contest to learn about digital transformation knowledge in 2024...
In addition to the achieved results, the number of creative projects and models among youth and children in the province is still limited, not much investment in new fields, not fully promoting the potential and strengths of the youth in the whole province. In order for the "Creative Youth" movement to develop widely and bring about specific and practical economic efficiency, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Chau said: Youth Union chapters at all levels will continue to promote programs and movements for research, application of science and technology, promote technical innovation initiatives among youth and children, in order to promote the youth, creativity, initiative, and leadership of youth and children in the cause of building and developing the homeland and the country to become increasingly prosperous.
