As of 10:00 a.m., Vietcombank is listing the euro buying price at 28,624 VND/EUR and selling price at 30,192 VND/EUR, down 58 VND and 62 VND respectively compared to yesterday.
VietinBank also adjusted down 48 VND in both directions, buying at 28,958 VND/EUR and selling at 30,213 VND/EUR.
BIDV decreased slightly, with a decrease of 7 VND in buying and 9 VND in selling, trading at 28,922 - 30,178 VND/EUR.
At Eximbank, the buying rate dropped sharply by 66 VND, down to 28,881 VND/EUR, while the selling price also dropped by 68 VND, down to 29,862 VND/EUR, the lowest level among the surveyed banks.
Techcombank and Sacombank also recorded a decrease of 38 - 56 VND in both directions.
HSBC reduced the buying price by 59 VND and the selling price by 62 VND, bringing the transaction price to 28,785 - 29,901 VND/EUR respectively.
In general, the buying rate of Euro at banks fluctuates between 28,624 - 29,018 VND/EUR; the selling rate is between 29,862 - 30,213 VND/EUR. Of which, Sacombank has the highest buying price of Euro, while Eximbank keeps the lowest selling price.
On the black market, the euro increased by 33 VND in both buying and selling compared to yesterday, currently trading at 29,655 - 29,755 VND/EUR.
In the international market, the euro increased slightly, trading at 1.13318 USD/EUR at 10:00 a.m. on May 8, up 0.00303 USD compared to the previous closing session.
